After hearing Cousins being suspending indefinitely, I really do not want. He isnt a player BC would look at anyways just as how he had no interest with jeremy lamb during the draft because of immaturity issues. Personally Ill prefer to have JV over Cousins as both will be demanding to have start minutes. And imagine Casey calling Cousins out, and all that, we do not need a headcase on this team at all.
Beasley his 1st few years had issues with weed and DUIs, but since then he's been under the radar since his move to Minnesota. I mean we did have Keon Clark who practically played each game high non?

I'm curious, can we post trades not involving the Raptors in here? It might be good to get some non-homer stuff in here

Honestly if they're willing to take Ross + filler for Cousins, that's a deal you have to do, but I'm not willing to give up Ross yet.

Ill rather keep Ross than trade him for Cousins. Last thing we need here is someone whose childish and constantly yells back at his coach. Ross is someone who is willing to learn and give his effort each game

^ which is why I said I'm not wiling to give up Ross. I don't think Cousins would bode well with Casey especially with him being a new coach, he may become a pushover.

We should start shedding some of our horrid contracts. It just makes me sick seeing them online. We need to clear up some cap space for the summer. Trade at least one of Fields, Kleiza, or Gray for an expiring. Even if we can't, we would still have the mid-level exception. However, dumping a bad contract makes it easier to absorb the mid-level.

The guy I think would be a good pick-up at a decent price via free agency is Corey Brewer. First off, he fills a positional need for us at SF. His PER is just over the average for an NBA player, he could defend (will buy into Casey's system), his 3pt shot has improved, and most importantly he won't be too expensive. The Nuggets are already at 67 million dollars in committed salary for next year without Brewer. He's surely looking for a raise from his 3.2 million per year. Denver could dump another player and still try to re-sign him. However, as of now, it looks like it's going to be difficult unless ownership is willing to go into lux tax. The big bonus for us is that he's an unrestricted free agent. We should try to sign him in the offseason if the price/terms are right.

Yeah, would not want a prime Reggie Miller on this team, too skinny. Same for Durant, Rondo, and Iverson.

Curious, which would you guys rather have on this team, DeRozan or Tyreke Evans?

And since nobody answered my question, I'm going to assume we can post trades for other teams on here.

OKC
In: DeMarcus Cousins, Francisco Garcia

SAC
In:Tor 1st, Perkins, Lamb, PJ3

And I find it comical that PG is arguably Houston's weakest position now whereas last season they had two upper-tier starting PGs. I've been pondering how a Lowry to houston deal would go but they can't reacquire him this year :/

Listen to the list of names u are saying in comparison to Brewer? the fact is he's not that good a ball player & he is too thin to guard anyone.

Criticizing other elements of Brewer's game definitely has some merit, but to say he's "too thin to guard anyone," is disserviceable and far from being accurate. On the contrary, he's actually a fairly good defender. Has long arms, athletic, gets a fair number of steals, good in transition, and good at staying with his defender. He would be right up there with the likes of Ross/Anderson/Lowry as one of our better defenders. The main reason they mentioned those names is to counter your initial argument of not wanting Brewer because he's too skinny. In doing so, you failed to provide any elaboration beyond your initial statement; thus inviting someone to conclude that somehow being skinny equates to not being a good player. Brewer is not a flashy name nor is he at the present time a starter on most winning teams. However, factoring our need for a small forward, the lack of talented small forwards on the market/free agency, and the limited cap space we have in the offseason, Brewer could be a nice fit for us. That doesn’t mean he’s going to be our small forward of the future; but he would be better than anyone else that we currently have at that position and could easily transition into a valuable rotation player for us if we can acquire him at the right price/terms.

Sac
In: Nene, Trevor Booker

Get rid of Cousins in exchange for Nene who has a 23.7 PER this year. Booker helps w/ depth. They dump Salmons' horrid contract.

Was
In: DeMarcus Cousins, Salmons

Pair up best buds Wall and Cousins and hope Wall can keep him tame.

Yeah, we'd still have a major hole at SF, good one. And Cousins is a headcase, Tyreke is injury prone and is a worse shooter than Derozan.....i'd say no without hesitation.

Brewer is a 6'9 wing. He guards with length and hops. Why would you want a bulky SF/SG? Most, if not all wings are face up shooters or slashing to the rim. Why is weight a positive in those situations?
