Williams, Shved, and Budinger... not bad.
I think Budinger in injured. But yeah, that would be the ideal package to get in return.

maybe we swing a 2-team deal with the wolves now, before mob lynching and allowing enough time to permit minni to repackage players at the deadline:

Bargs+Lucas for Williams+Shved passes the trade checker following Dec.15th
(using Amundson as a proxy for Budinger—they've got a screwy data problem using him—works as well)
-Ridnour might be a good PG for for the Lakers, this would let them group Luke and Bargs and still have a backup PG for Rubio with Lucas

honestly, i don't want to trade bargnani, the way things are unfolding, i'm getting memories of the Carter trade, but its getting ugly— media, fans, everyone seems to be throwing in nasty two-cents. but its feeling the a lynch mob is brewing. it may cool off if hockey starts, but its a slim chance. best hope for a revitalized bargs' impression is probably a coaching change and Bargnani pretty much instantly returning to his 13-game mirage of last season.

Wolves won't give up Shved for useless players...

Derrick Williams' agent just expressed displeasure about his playing time, but didn't request a trade. If he wanted out and Ed Davis continues to play well maybe we could pull off a trade.

Ed Davis, filler (one of our min players or kleiza), 2nd round pick for derrick Williams.

Minni fucking loves shved. That is why I had Barea coming to us instead of him. If we were to have a Ross/Shved swap added on it might work for them though.

Obviously it's going to be hard to move him. He would need to start shooting the ball well and then a GM like Babby from the Suns might take him. I would wait for him to play better and then ship him for an expiring or dump him in a larger trade with Bargs and Calderon. If we did get Chandler or another wing, I really don't want him taking Ross' minutes.

Our best bet is if D'Antoni turns around and says he needs Fields... otherwise he's stuck here for a while!

Agreed... like Ross, but Barnes was such a good fit.

Stuck? 2 years at the most and he's expiring - that's not stuck. 6mil won't be bad if he plays like he did his rookie season. I personally feel LF will be better than his rookie season.

I repeat, stuck. lol. I think Landry is more like the second year player then the kid from the first half of his rookie season. He's a backup's backup SG.

Agree. I have little to no hope that he will return to his rookie season form, and what he is now is a scrub, plain and simple.

In 7 days (Dec. 15th)

Los Angeles
Out: Pau Gasol, Steve Blake, Lakers 1st round (unprotected)
In: Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon, Landry Fields

Chicago
Out: Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer
In: Pau Gasol, Terrence Ross, Lakers 1st

Toronto
Out: Jose Calderon, Terrence Ross, Landry Fields
In: Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer, Steve Blake

Why Chicago:
They unload Boozer and get Pau, who they have been linked to, save a ton of moolah in the process. They get a nice SG prospect in Ross, who could eventually be a 2nd/3rd option to Rose. They get a pick that could be in the teens if LA continues to struggle. They are really the only question mark as they do save a TON of cash, but not sure if the value is there, hopefully they're as high on Ross as we are.

(Rose)/Hinrich/Robinson
Rip/Ross/Bellinelli
Butler/Radmanovic
Gasol/Gibson
Noah/Mohammed

Why LA:
Trade Gasol and Blake, and a 1st rounder that has little value to them, get Bargs in arguably an ideal situation for him, Jose to back up Steve Nash and start while he's out, and get Fields to backup Kobe (because they really only have Meeks as his backup).

Nash/Jose/Morris
Kobe/Fields/Meeks
Peace/Ebanks/Clark
Bargs/Jamison
Howard/Hill

Why Toronto:
Deng. He is the main reason we do this trade as we desperately need a starting Caliber SF. We may make a push for the playoffs with this trade. We get rid of Landry but we also end up with Boozer, who although is paid a lot, is an improvement over Bargs.

Lowry/Blake/Lucas
DeRozan/Pietrus/Anderson
Deng/Kleiza/Acy
Boozer/Ed
Val/Amir/Gray

I proposed a similar deal except acquiring Boozer(Raptors). At this point,I'd take him, just to get a whole new look in.
