And before he got injured......13 games? We've seen 13 game stretches before with this guy, it doesn't make him untouchable. Not by a long shot.
Can't say I overly disagree with this.
But he was pretty impressive to start this gear, Casey can likely get more out of him than any coach he's had to date.

Yes, so because he had a nice 13 game stretch we're supposed to forget the almost 400 other games where he was a failure.

i would just say, because of what barg produce this season, we should trade when he has a high value.

for example:
Barg for Gay. that give us an amost same talent at another position? the exception is at SF Gay produce the exact same thing.19/6.
And memephis will not have to extend speights, because they would have one of the best frontcourt in the leugue with ZBO-Gasol-Barg.

in the case of Iguy, i really think that Phily need a capable big men whom can score.

but to be fair, Barg was good this season for the first 13 games. yes injury happen and yes injury can make a player step back. so if barg don't come as strong as he was during this 13 games stretch, you lose something.
Now that he has showed some life it's time to sell and get some interresting piece for him.

Now thats a beast lineup and the best I've seen. The only thing I'd change is not re signing Bayless if we were to draft Rivers. Their games would not fit well at all together.

I like it though I don't believe that it's doable in respect to Gay...not enough and at 8 there won't be a decent SF there to replace him in Memphis as I believe both Barnes and MKG will be gone. A little editing....

To Sactown...

Bayless/Ed/#8

To Philly...

JC/#5

To Toronto...

AI/Evans

Every team wins in this....

Nash/Goran
Evans/DD
AI/JJ
Bargs/Amir
JV/Gray

How does that work for SAK. They Evans is worth more than ED. The 5th pick is higher than the 8th. However, they don't really like Evans there at the moment. It works well for Philly. Speaking of Philly, JB, 8th pick for Jrue Holiday.

Jrue isn't going anywhere though. Originally I thought of DD/Ed/8th but that's too much for Evans.

That is too much for Evans indeed. They wouldn't want DD as they want a SF.

Also, what about ED/8th pick for 6th pick?

See, I posted something similar, but with a little bit different setup.

To Philly:

Calderon, Davis, 8th pick

To Memphis:

Kleiza, DeRozan, Philly's 15th pick

To Toronto:

Iguodala, Gay, Memphis' 25th pick.

Everybody wins. Heck, if Philly needs convincing, you send the 25th pick their way as well - and our second rounders if that is what it takes.

I actually like that idea..clean and simple as long as you get a player that you feel will be better than those 2 players for the Raps. Lillard? I'm really starting to like that guy.

BEWARE: This trade may result in extreme tanking in the 2012/13 NBA season.

It seems pretty likely that Phoenix is the team that gave Waiters a promise. BC has said that despite that promise, if Waiters is still on the board, he will consider him. So in order for the Suns to guarantee that they land Waiters, they're gonna have to move up.

Toronto trades:

8th pick

Phoenix trades:

14th pick, Markieff Morris

With the addition of Morris, that makes Ed expendable. From there, we could attempt to get another pick.

Toronto trades:

Ed Davis, 37th pick, 56th pick

New Orleans trades:

10th pick, Vasquez

With the 10th pick, we grab Kendall Marshall. At 14, Moe Harkless.

Calderon/Marshall/Vasquez
DeRozan/Anderson
Johnson/Kleiza/Harkless
Bargnani/Amir/Morris
Valanciunas/Gray

Won't win you many games, but it gives us a chance to see what the young guys have got, while also retaining assets like Calderon and Kleiza who we could use as trade bait.

Why are we giving up any picks in this deal??? If anything, they should be sweetening for us taking all that salary back!

You know what the sad part is? In OKC, they may well have to break up tha core to avoid the tax a some point. If that trade gets done, MLSE could go deep into the tax to keep them together and still be rolling in more money than this franchise has ever generated before.
