Or worse than the year that had Eddy Curry and Kwame Brown in the top 5?

I don't see how that's possible.
the year we had #1 wasn't that bad a draft, there was aldridge and roy
the eddy curry year had a bunch of good players, there was pau, zach randolph, joe johnson, jrich, even chandler is good

Assuming we keep #5 and go for a point guard:

Maybe Knight is the better fit on this roster vs. Walker? I just thought about it for the last few minutes, and Walker might add redundancy to this roster. We already have a similar player that looks to attack using quickness, and that's Jerryd Bayless. Knight would add three point shooting and potential to defend at the point.

if cleveland picks irving, it's highly likely that kemba will still be there. out of the top four (two being cleveland) two teams are in the market for a point.

I had a sinking feeling when Cavs and Utah got in guaranteed top 3. Pretty much guaranteed the Raptors were out.

Well, we better start tanking now if we want a shot at Austin Rivers.

Who the fuck said we actually tanked?

If we really tanked we would have a higher pick. Fact is without all the injuries this was a team that probably wins 30 games.

Kemba is undersized and overrated just because he ripped it in the NCAA tournament. Other then that i feel Knight is a overall better player. The only thing that concerns me a little is Knight isn't much of a distributer, so if Bayless was the back up thats a bad combo.

Claims of a conspiracy or a rigged lottery are bullshit and completely unsubstantiated.

In a way, the 5th pick might be good for the team. Why not see if they can find another piece for the future, keep the team young for another season, and see how they grow. If they respond well, then we're all pleasantly surprised. If not, they'll have a decent pick for next year in a very deep draft. If they want to rebuild to get deep in the playoffs, then everyone needs to be patient as they accumulate young talent.

Agree with you on about the distribution point. Knight is still prone to turnovers. Walker is not much better though. He hogs the ball way too much.

Who would be the best defensive player we could get at #5? That at this point should be the priority.

Toronto didn't tank. Thats absolutely idiotic to say.

Its fun during the year to joke about it, but come on.... this team just sucked badly.

But imo without the massive injuries we probably end up with the 8-10th pick. lol

like other's here, i too feel the nba draft lottery is rigged, especially after seeing the chicago bulls get the 1st overall pick when they had something like a 0.9% chance of winning and now this shit.
