why, it's the roster, not the lineup.... maybe there are some additional points of discussion in here!

Not sure how Acy made the roster.....

Is this 100% official? Like we could not make a trade before opening night if something crazy like Durant for DeRozan + Caldy was offered?

Shit...I like Ross and all but I take Gay over him any day. This also means our chances of Wiggins are slimming

Honestly I'd probably do that deal for KD and our first back. Hire someone to mug KD, keep him in hiding playing ball in like taiwan (chinas too mainstream) for two years and tank my ass off then roll with Jose/Wiggins/Durant/Ed/Nerlens Noel

If that deal happens, we might have to offer some future 2014 picks, no more wiggins, but who cares lets get him in UFA

he made it up.

not that anything like this would happen but i think we'd be better off swapping ross and demar. we wouldn't have to be concerned with having to extend demar, have anderson ready to start (should, imo, probably be starting over demar, as is) have better ball movement, shooting, and defense. plus we'd potentially have a few more minutes of pt to get fields on the floor.

but the best deal for memphis may actually be jmc gor gay straight up. memphis starts saving millions immediately, gets a tpe, and completely wipes the salary from the books by year end while still having a serviceable player (with preexisting chemistry with gasol—may even get more tv revenue from spain) for the season. of course, its a pure money deal. but even with the others thrown in, for memphis, its about the money.

anyway, that's our 15. which guys don't make the rotation? personally, i hope we can use a deep lineup like hubie brown did with memphis and get everyone playing as hard as they can 48minutes (hopefully) exhausting opponents.

acy is the only guy that seems like a natural for a suit.

we need gray as a situational guy. all our point guards have proved they deserve minutes. klieza makes too much money—if he could just get back to where he was pre-injury. can't see them sitting fields no matter how badly he shoots, and the guys do seem to play well with him on the floor. mcguire is one that makes things happen and defends so well. anderson may actually (sadly) be our best wing—gets way too few minutes as is. can't sit davis, can they?

doesn't seem like casey will play 14 guys. ok, so non rotation:
acy, mcguire (i think i may rather have him than fields), gray when there's no very big body, klieza could see some bench days when there's no small stretch-4 need (i swear i remember him playing some sg in denver). ross might miss some games with dnps simply because its easier to sit a rook.

thoughts on rotation?

Looks like McGuire is doomed to be riding the bench. Big loss if you ask me. Rather have him ahead of offensive players like Anderson, Kleiza and Lucas.

if we were to get winnings in UFA we'd have to wait like 8-10 years
he'd have to go through his rookie contract and then he'd be an RFA which if we all think he's that good would mean a max type deal and then he'd finally be a UFA

hopefully he pulls a superstar move and demands a trade to only the raptors, lol
