I've been holding off on making this thread, but that was the worst coaching display I've seen in my life. Continue playing Bargnani through the 4th quarter & double overtime while he is shooting a disgusting 2-19, and bringing nothing defensively. Also playing Jose when hes 3-14... its just pathetic.
Meanwhile you've got Ed Davis rotting on the bench with 15 points, 14 rebounds, shooting 7-11. He should have been in the game. What is the reason for playing Bargnani and Jose? There is no way to justify this, he shouldn't be coaching this team. |

Well even with Bargnani as a 7 footer he sure doesnt play as one and has no impact. Unlike ed who is smaller, plays hard defensively and hustles for every board just like JV. ill rather play somebody who has been effective throughout the game, than a 7 footer whose useless if his shots arent falling down.
Might as well start the official amnesty Bargnani thread, screw trying to trade his ass |

Its not just one game, its all the games played this season right now. Caseys game rotations have been very skeptical up to this point and as of right now all the talks about implementation a new culture have been lost. Realistically no coach would leave a player out there for that long if he's struggling offensively, and not helping in any other areas at all. Look at his bench and see Eds stats for the limited playing time he has had. JV only started playing in the 4th quarter more often these last 2 games, before it was none existent

I still think the pressure is on BC to provide him with a well-balanced roster. And they aren't far off from that. A trade of Bargnani for anything, as well as one of our many bleh wing players, and Ross moving up the pecking order as a scorer, and things are quite a bit different.

I try to be reasonable here. Something isn't working with this team. We are clogged at the PF spot and Amir, as much as I like his game is not a true C. |

We are making more mistakes this year on inbound plays... This is mostly on the coach
His rotations have been questionable at best I don't think he is head coach material.. Good guy..understands people well, but needs to be stronger on strategy side I don't think he will make it...hope he improves |

First of all, that comment by Casey is dumb. Under Colangelo's regime the only thing that will head to the grave is Casey's tenure as coach. He needs to realize its either shorten that leash well Bargnani isn't playing effectively or get fired.
How many coaches have to bite the bullet before people realize the Bargnani & Calderon era as Raptors must end? Its been but what 2,going on 3 coaches almost now? I think you have to trade Bargnani (at least) first before you fire Casey. They may not get what they want, but thet can get help. |
