i dont wanna hate on AA as he was a big surprise for us this year. If it wasn't for him...we would've gotten more blown out losses. However, he's play is now being exposed by big league games and style of play by Lowry and Gay. He needs to go back to his role, which is a utility man...shoot only when you're open...play D and get boards. He's trying way too much out there and he needs to calm down. A 22yr old rookie Ross is way more valuable than a 30yr old vet Anderson.

has he totally forgotten, how promising our rookies are? 6 min combined is a joke, give them gray's and anderson's minutes and let them develop

won't happen. Trade deadline is coming and we need to showcase Bargnani and other assets. Loss to Boston is on Casey and we're 17-32, everyone is talking about Play-offs, but we're starting Gray.

what happened to playing JV as much as possible, this is horrible. 2 min is a joke, he then says in the interview our bench needs to step up. His bench was Bargs and AA, Bargs played decent, so it was AA that sucked

Listening to Sam Mitchell on the radio makes me really want the Raps to bring him in as an assistant coach.... dude is saying everything right about Andrea.... get him to play from 17' in, get him in the post, get him to curtail his game beyond what he personally feels he does well..... and as well as other things, like dealing with injured players, teammates, goals.... Smitch knows how to handle things....

i liked how casey defended Bargs against the fans that booed him,

also i dont understand why fans booed him he is still a player on the team plus he is still the guy who slammed vince Carter to the floor

that highlight is one of the most memorable we've had since vince left toronto, besides the nets series thats it

Carter to the floor - YouTube" target="_blank">Bargnani sends Vince Carter to the floor - YouTube

Just wanna say I'm really impressed by Casey's decisions this game. Playing Anderson on short minutes, starting JV in the second half and letting him come back after getting hurt, as well as playing Bargs during clutch time. The single most impressive aspect of this game had to be how our players rallied halfway through the 3rd quarter and played through the bullshit calls. Many teams have tried to adjust to and match Indiana's physical style of play but we were one of the few to do it successfully.

Only negative is that David West clearly outmatched Amir in the strength department, but the dude made up for it by playing his heart out.

putting john lucas on the floor up until the 4 minute mark in the 4th quarter was dumb

eventually took him out after he chucked up a 3 from half.

fucking hate lucas

I think it was because Lowry needed a break. Other wise we got no other back up PG.

I suppose, but Lucas had made a couple of shot and bottom line, the team was playing great - Casey didn't wanna interfere. In addition, Lowry was well rested when he came back into the game and that was something we absolutely needed. Lol that 3 wasn't Lucas's fault, it was passed to him by Gray with 2 seconds remaining. Are you serious or what?

there was .5 left on the shot clock

Lowry simply isn't able to play big minutes with the bad foot. Ultimately Casey gets to try to figure out how to keep only one limited player out there. He started Valanciunas in the second half, keeping Gray's limitations out of play. But Valanciunas can have his own limitations. Tonight he showed they were not apparent and he got the minutes. Anderson showed that he was still limited mentally right now, and so he was taken out of the mix. Still, all things considered, these guys are undermanned, and they stole this game, and Casey deserves some credit for just keeping them close.

There was about 3.5 seconds left and he just chucked it up from his hip.

he has no court vision all he does is run it up and shoot doesn't matter who's on the floor with him.

Grey played too damn much, JV gets hurt and he puts him in instead of Bargnani, what's going through his head. He also had JV, Bargnani and Grey all in that last possession so JV could block the inbounds, but if they had gone to whoever Grey was guarding, we probably would have lost.

i have no problems with the 3 bigs at the end, 1 big making it difficult to inbounds and you basically don't want to give them a 3, so everyone else is basically playing a "zone" defense, you get as many bigs out there to guard as much area as possible, everyone's switching on picks anyways, you're not going to lose anybody, and there's only 1.7 seconds, you're just looking to make the shot difficult by having as tall a person in his face
and he put Gray in when JV was hurt because Gray is the only 1 that can body Hibbert

I'm sure Casey was thinking the same thing but 1.7 is plenty of time to get a decent look, case in point George got one.
