I clearly saw him freeze Bargnani out on several possessions in favour of trying to do it himself. Plus he's so used to getting the clear foul calls that we aren't and he's pissed and complains and we gave up at least three easy buckets (including the foul on Ginobili) because that complaining got in the way of getting back on D. This is why I'd rather trade him soon rather than watch him get so disgruntled after a single season that we HAVE to trade him and get less of a return because of it.
This is not surprising about Lowry. The guy has a big chip on his shoulder. He is just alittle weak between the ears. He sure could never be a QB on any CFL or NFL football team. Hes a pitbull and you can not bring in a pitbull into Canada. These dogs are very un predictable hence hero shots from our point guard of the future. DC will be able to control our guys even Lowry...Lowry has already a bad rap... he screws up in Toronto he will be done in the NBA.
I like what we got , DC just has to keep working the guys !

his offense is horrible and his rotations are even worse

why does he play Bargnani for the entire first quarter and let him start the 2nd quarter for a minute pull him and then you don't see him tell the 3rd quarter

i'm sure htis fucks with bargnanis flow

why not just pull him for 3 minutes late in the first have him comeback with 9 mins left in the 8th

why does kleiza barely play meanwhile a far worse player starts over him

why play mcguire when you can play ross who is just as good defender in my opion

why play jose with lowry to fnish games

never ever worked before why start now

His rotations are fucked because there is too much depth on this team.... Colangelo has failed to bring in top tier talent and instead we have a slew of mediocre players that all need time. We have a position where nobody is deserving and other positions where multiple players are. Taking the best available player is fine, but there comes a point when you need to start filling holes too. Having Ed or Amir as a third PF is useless unless one gets injured.... but you deal with that when it comes. We don't need to be three deep at any position if we've got nobody at another. Landry Fields being signed when there were many better, more affordable options, and having him be paraded as some mythical glue guy.... gross. Talent please.

carp, it's true there is a lot of depth, but unfortunately it is bad depth. Your point about Fields is true as well, where it is embarrassingly evident he is way overpriced seeing Dominic McGuire and Alan Anderson providing the same thing at 1/6 the pricetag.

We finally agree! Let's party!

BC messed up with Fields... never overpay for middling, replaceable role players. Agreed, Dom and AA are more than worthy at such a reduced price! When he got AP it was for cheap and he was seasoned.

You only have depth when you have a starting lineup. Depth isn't having 12th men that are as good as 9th men when your best players are like 3rd best players lol.

In response to the thread, Casey should be kept, Colangelo has to go. Let the new GM decide whether he wants to keep Casey or not.

Let's fire Casey before it's too late PLEASE.

I put 80% of the blame on Casey for this abysmal start to the season.

i agree with this.

by holding back JV in 4th quarters, starting mcguire, this dumb 2pg game while sitting ross, bad rotations, riding out 1-20 shooting over the beasting davis for an easy pick and roll

Also - terrible plays coming out of time outs, horrendous defence, creating possible chemistry issues with statements like playing Bargs no matter how he performs, never expressing his distaste with the effort and way our team plays, always making excuses for the loss (Eg they're a vet team).

The guy is terrible. How's he still go the job. Lets go and get SVG or someone else DECENT ffs.

How can the GM have the nerves to fire a coach who hasn't received talent from the GM himself?

How many wins were you predicting? 47?

You must have thought we had talent a month ago.

Honestly... I don't get how anyone can blame the start on Casey. I could blame one game on him and that game could have turned if someone didn't suck so much.

You people think a coach can change this into a new team? You're dreaming whenyou overestimate how much impact a coach can have.

This is exactly why I think that Casey CAN'T go before BC.

Like it or not, BC doesn't have anyone to hide behind this time.... he's going to take the fall for this team if they fail.
