You guys wonder why I want to tank? THIS is what happens when I'm optimistic

In all seriousness though Casey is terrible. He sucks at drawing up plays, managing rotations, our defence has been average if even that.

So take the most effective player out the game durr x)
Our head coach is so bad that people think we're trying to lose on purpose. I've gained a new found respect for Casey, that's just legendary.

Casey could turn LeBron into an 18p/g, 4a/g, 5 r/g in a flash. He's that good.

haha...didn't watch the game but caught the end on the radio. heard the raps had gone small ball. turned the radio off.

small ball against a team that won two championships with small ball, not to mention chris Bosh being out. terrible.

"I thought our turnovers really killed us. I don't think our small lineup had anything to do with it" - Dwane Casey postgame tonight.

Man is he stupid! We scored two points the first six minutes of the 4th quarter. The lineup he had out there wasn't working. JV was the main reason we took an early lead and he doesn't reward him at all. This guy is clueless!!

Was at the game. Same thoughts as everyone, except I think Augustine was especially putrid. As soon as he came in I swear the Heat got five straight guard v. guard breakdowns. Why is Casey the only coach who won't play his best players 40+ minutes in a game he knows they can't win without that?

Im just wondering, are they trying to limit Jonas because of the fact he has been balling the entire summer and not taking a break or something? Cause this is just weird

Casey seems to have this mindset that the only counter to small ball is small ball.
Quite clearly, it ain't. Not only that, Heat are the best small ball team in the league, you ain't gonna beat them by trying to copy what they're doing. Play to your strengths and attack their weaknesses. The Heat's biggest weakness is rebounding - so put in your guys like Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas, get your 2nd chance opportunities and limit theirs.

I agree with that post too. Jesus was that 4th quarter lineup terrible. No offence whatsoever and we got killed on the glass. Your small ball sucks Casey. Stop with this bullshit. Put JV in the 4th quarter to give us rebounds, offence and second chance points. He puts JV in the last 4 garbage minutes. What an idiot. The only flak I'm giving JV is his defence. He was getting crossed up by Wade lol.

I couldn't figure out in some of the defensive sets, why Casey had JV out of the paint, trying to guard Lebron or Wade? Smart coaching-take your big guy out of the paint to cover quicker players. Casey, quit pounding us with the rock.

Just another example of how bad our coach is. He's making our players look bad by putting them in situations they are disadvantaged.

Yeah, we started switching like crazy towards the end, and we got scored on every time we switched.

Between that, playing JV too little, and not playing Amir AT ALL in the 4th, Casey gets the tanker of the night award for sure.

Heck, I'm in a tanking mindset, and Casey STILL infuriates me with his crazy sub patterns and ridiculous strategies.

I had to stop watching the game at certain points. He needs to go.
