It's all coming together; Raptor being shitty this year and BC firing really soon which mean new GM with 2012-2013 NBA no.1 pick goes to the Toronto Raptors

Colangelo isn't getting fired... he's getting promoted... just watch. Stefanski has a chance to run this show. Welcome to the NEW Toronto Raptors! Let's get some perimeter defenders in here and blow this shit up.

I'd be surprised if BC was still the GM in 2013.

If ownership doesn't plan on renewing BC, I expect he'll be removed shortly.

Also, I think that if ownership has lost confidence in BC, then chances are he won't be allowed to make any major deals to right the ship.

Or the other route that's probably smart is just to grab an OKC/Spurs/Utah guy who's smart and hungry like Alex Anthoupoulos. Troy Weaver is top assistant in OKC and will be a GM soon (only reason Orlando didn't hire him is Hennigan interviewed better). I bet he will be excellent

Those are two choices, either the established, award winning GM, or the comes from a great franchise first timer. Either way is >>>>> BC
Orlando looks better than us right now. Picked off a coah and GM from those organizatins.

Lots of people thought the Orlando GM was nuts for not wanting Bynum and instead opting to include Denver and Philly in the deal. The young fillers from Philly (especially Vucevic) + Afflalo are looking better than Bynum right now.

Jacque Vaughn implimented a system on both sides of the ball thats basically a mirror image of the Spurs minus Duncan. The sets they run on offence are basically identical to SAS' plays, outside of some offball screens for Reddick/Afflalo that look like they took a page out of BOS' playsets when Allen was there. Theyre actually a fun team to watch since they move the ball and players so well.

pursues a 38 year old pg in the summer who isn't reknown for d and in the process signs a role player for 6 million/yr in an attempt to prevent another team from getting said pg. trades the raps draft pick for a player ensuring that the raps essentially be extremely lucky (ie making playoffs or top 3 in the lottery) to keep the pick. drafts a sg based on how him, the coach, etc like the player but plays the same position as one of the main players on the team. then in the 2nd round drafted a 4th/5th big instead of drafting based on potential. tries to skew fields as a sf when he's a sg. signs 3 players under a million to again try to tackle the sf spot. then extends dd despite him not playing one minute of the new season and having just signed a mediocre (surprise surprise) sg in free agency due to an illconceived pursuit of a certain pg and drafting a top 10 pick who's a sg.

I'm not a fan of in season firings and I'd hate to see moves made out of desperation but I think the Raptors are running out of options. They're 12 games below .500 currently, they need to do something soon if they hope to salvage the season or they risk giving OKC a high pick. Oh and don't think for a second that the NBA won't essentially give the Thunder the #4 overall pick to make up for losing Harden

If BCs contract is renewed I'm honestly done with the Raptors. I'm going to become a Wolves fan or something.

Sometimes I could ask you the same thing..... though I think R123 probably deserves that question much much more!

BC is already halfway into the President's position.... this thread is pointless.
