This was a doozy:

Unofficial: Hedo to sign with the Raptors (Updated Pg. 8)

Fun read. I think I was more pissed at this signing than I was Fields. BC knows how to bring the hatred out of me.

with bc on board I'm surprised landry didn't get a 4th year.

Also,

don't just highlight the negatives of the signing, but it wasn't terrible. It looked worse with how they handled the situation.

How was it not terrible? Because if I remember correctly, Kapono was the first player to be signed in free agency once the clock struck midnight was he not? No one would have come close to offering him the same amount of years and money

oh, I forgot, there were so many positives to the signing. once again with that signing, bc was only thinking about offense, a mistake which he made when signing kapono (adding to the team's strength but not addressing the team's weaknesses- ie.d+rebounding).

Lets not forget Fred Jones and Hassan Adams and Juan Dixon and Antoine Wright and Rasual Butler, all of which, along with Kapono, never or barely set foot on an NBA court again once BC grabbed them for failure here.

Wasn't Juan Dixon actually a part of the only 2 playoff seasons under BC?

I actually liked Antoine Wright.....get up bird!

Rasual Butler was a seat filler on a team going nowhere and they didn't hide that. Juan Dixon was actually decent while he was here. Jones, Adams, and Kapono were crap!!! All were mediocre role players and other than Kapono Colangelo didn't really say otherwise. Although I do recall hearing how Hassan Adams was some great defensive specialist. Lol

Dominic Mcguire is todays Hassan Adams. Its shameful hes starting, let alone getting minutes for an NBA team.

Rasual Butler was marketed as verging on a break-out season and a solid veteran presence in the starting three spot.

I know I saw more than one feature on Butler being a "leader by example" type. Wasn't he our starter at the three spot to begin the season?

Fred Jones was not sold as a role player. BC called his signing, in lieu of Salmans, a possible blessing in disguise. And Dixon was decent for a stretch, but wretched when he was needed most. I seem to remember him glued to the bench.

A guy in his 3rd season.... who's making $6M/yr.... and will be easily tradeable after 2.... THAT is worst signing in the league over the last 10 years???

Exaggerate much?

His contract is up and for me personally, I think BC needs a trade to keep his job. He's done a mediocore job (some good moves, some terrible moves, a lot of lateral moves).

This team needs a consolidation trade and if BC can't make that happen, then we need to move on.

I don't think that MLSE thought that the Raptors would miss the playoffs for 4 straight years, going on 5, when they initially hired Bryan. It is very disappointing especially after his first season where he was the exec of the year. I thought we were solidly on the right track to actually having one hell of a team. It's very heartbreaking the way things transpired since then.
