I still have a feeling MU is gonna make an unorthodox selection at 20, not going to be expected

Said all along, I would like to see Payne if he is there at #20. I just think he will be a solid pro and worth the selection.

And said a few weeks ago on the draft board, Mitch McGary is someone I look at early 2nd if he is there. Good solid center prospect. Worth the gamble.

Late 2nd, just draft the rights to some Euro player we never heard of that will be there at least for a few more years and very small chance to make in NBA. Basically, just hoping you get lucky.

I would love to get Payne cause dude looks like a hard worker and can turn out to be solid role player.

I'm just excited raps have draft picks again, gives me a reason to watch the draft

Dude has no position in the NBA. He's called Slow Mo for a reason.

A Payne/Patterson or Payne/Amir big man bench duo would be very exciting. Having good big men with great motors, and in PP and Paynes cases, very good shooting ability is huge.

People said the exact same thing about Andre Miller - who's made up for his lack of speed in other areas. He's done alright

Unique doesn't make him one of a kind.

He will be, and guess what....he's a SF with size. MU says that's what we need.

He's a PG in a SF's body. He just plays the game at a pace that he's comfortable with. His big ability is making the right play.

if i saw nik stauskas on the street somewhere, i would not think he would be an NBA prospect, just an average joe. then i see his stroke :0. and it looks like he has good work ethic

Keep in mind he is ~6'8". I dunno about you but any time I see someone that height that look like they could ball potentially I wonder if they could end up in the NBA
