I know you're not supposed to judge players by these workout videos, but damn this kid seems to have a little something-something to his game. Adding him to my list of wants.
He`s one of the players I want at 20. Him, Payton and Payne are my top 3.

Default Today's Workout

Jahii Carson (PG), Semaj Christon (PG), Halil Kanacevic (PF), James Michael McAdoo (PF), Johnny O’Bryant (PF/C) & Dwight Powell (PF)

Jahii Carson (PG): Undersized PG (5'10"), extremely athletic (max vert 43.5"), very good shooter (almost 40% from 3 on 3 attempts per game), gets to the line a lot (almost 7 attempts a game), rebounds well for a guard, not a great passer (just over 1.3:1 AST:TO). One of my sleeper picks at 59 if he drops. Projected at 52. 21 years old.

Semaj Christon (PG): 6'3", 186 lbs. 6'7" wingspan and good athleticism. Good scorer, can shoot the 3 (38%), gets to the line but only converts at 66% (strange considering his good range). Decent passer and rebounder, nothing particularly special. Projected at 59, 21 years old.

Halil Kanacevic (PF): 6'8", 258 lbs. Scores inside well, can hit a 3, poor FT shooter. Not a great rebounder, blocks shots fairly well. Not projected. 22 years old.

James Michael McAdoo (PF): 6'9", 228 lbs. 7'2" wingspan. Was at one point considered a lotto pick. Decent athleticism for a big man. Not a great scorer (can't shoot to save his life), but gets to the line very well (though he is poor from the line). OK rebounder. Versatile defender, with promise due to his length and quickness. Projected at 55, 21 years old.

Johnny O’Bryant (PF/C): 6'8", 257 lbs. 7'2" wingspan. Good athleticism. Scores at a decent rate down low. Gets to the line alright, but struggles hitting them. Decent rebounder. Very foul prone defensively - not great fundamentals, not very disciplined. Projected at 42, 21 years old.

Dwight Powell (PF): 6'11", 234 lbs. 7'0" wingspan. Good athleticism, can get off the floor well. Scores alright in the post, not much of a shooter (although he has good form, so might well improve a lot). OK from the line, close to 70%. Only an OK rebounder. High B-ball IQ player, picks up steals fairly often, and operated out of the triangle in college, initiating a lot of offense and picking up his share of assists along the way. Can take slower bigs off the dribble. Lacks the strength to defend well in the post, but is fundamentally sound and a good perimeter defender for a player his size. Fouls a lot though. Projected at 47, 22 years old.

More second round fodder. Nothing too interesting here. I'm glad to see Carson back for a second workout, as he is one of my favourites at that 59th pick if he's there.

I hope we pick up Dwight Powell, the Toronto kid. Seems to have the tools and mindset to be a great role player.

Interesting.. don't think he is going to drop that much, but if somehow he would be there at 20, it would be a steal for us

I was thinking the same but for a team that has every indication pointing to another year competing in the playoffs do you think Masai would still take a stasher in the first round?

John Henson is reportedly available. I would look to package our pick with a player for him immediately.

I'm feeling safe with Masai at the wheel of this team.

Good grief yes - seems Ersan is available too...I'd take either but Henson for sure first

Really? I'm shocked he's available.

We could take on Delfino's remaining year for nothing (absorbed into our TPE), deal Stone and Buycks for Henson (both can be waived), and send them our 20 and 59, and the NYK pick in 2016. That saves them over 5M, and gives them two 1st rounders and late 2nd for their rebuild. Gives us our future PF to pair with JV, a SF who can shoot and defend, and lets us keep all our future picks and the 37th this year to add a good piece in this deep draft.

That's assuming they are rebuilding though, which doesn't fit with trading Henson. I'll have to think about a win-now move for them.

Considering we have Jeff Weltman here who had a hand in scouting and drafting him we must be at least enquiring.

Clint Capela, Damien Inglis (I actually prefer them in reversed order)
Those are the guys I'm feeling the most.

Both should be in the conversation for best player available at our pick(s) as well as answering the need question, as above.

I would be great to be able to gain a late-teen, early-twenties draft pick without having to forfeit a future 1st.

Saric's new contract situation hurts a bit—teams with payroll/cap concerns ahead of us—one's that may have had interest in selling/trading a pick—can now draft-and-stash without affecting their books.

I believe that Ersan is available as well - and would be first to go - however judging from last year, Henson didn't want to be there anymore. If he is on the block I would suspect he may have quietly asked to be traded? I would be all over that one and if we keep the pick great but if not still great.

Still think we should use the non guaranteed contracts for Boozer/16th pick or as DanH suggested Perkins/29th pick.

Yeah any deal outside of trading any of our top assets, besides Amir, would be ideal. If they prefer to make a trade for Amir and match the salaries for Henson instead of the 1sts for some reason, I'd do it immediately. Henson is extremely underrated and frankly unknown around the NBA, and the Bucks have completely fucked up with developing him.

Everytime he actually plays extended minutes, he produces big numbers and looks like a terror in terms of blocking shots, rebounding, and finishing around the rim despite his slight frame. Getting him would immediately make our off season a huge success.
