so you've watched a lot of film on this guy I gather? Or you just assumed that since he's from brasil and he was drafted by the raptors, he's another hoffa?

how many people were projecting george to become paul george? not everybody screams star from high school.

If he's a hard worker and has the intangibles, with that physical attributes, he can definitely be a star or more. You and I have no clue about what type of person he is, but masai does. So maybe we should give it some time before deciding?

Length. With more 3's in the game today, length gets a hand in the shooters face more.

it's more important than height - height only goes one way, wingspan goes sideways too. Guys with long wingspan can become lockdown defenders.

Wingspan helps a lot on defense and especially with rebounding - your reach is pretty important in basketball, and like moremilk said, wingspan goes both ways.

Apparently there are talks to buy out and bring him over right away. Surprising, but probably a good sign.

Casey just admitted the #RTZ were worried Leandro Barbosa gave the Suns valuable intel on Caboclo. LB and BC played together in Brazil.

also, this about capella:

Quote:
Capela is long and athletic. He bears a passing resemblance to a young Serge Ibaka. However, he is very raw. Incredibly raw. And the Rockets, who are trying to clear cap space, will keep him overseas for at least a season.
projects to be very raw as well

I'd like to see him in SL, but not sure if we have to sign him in order to do that? If he's raw, it would suck to waste 1-2 years of his rookie contract. Better to bring him when he's closer to being ready.

Thabeet was a C and only a C.

This guy looks to be in the same mould as a Leanard, or a Antetekounmpo.

I think the obsession with lean 6'10 guys who have long reaches is versatility. Versaitility and the ability to guard multiple positions is huge in today's nba.

Was a bit shocked to see the options we still had @ 20, and masai pulled a rabbit out of the hat. If he is greek freak 2.0 we could have a huge sleeper on our hands.

Pretty happy we got daniels at 37. Mentioned this guy a month ago, not a bad second rounder.

I trust masai

You think MU is that poor of a scout? The longer wing span is ideal for defence for one.

Also says only 3 or 4 other teams had him on radar. Raps are going to look really smart or REALLY silly.

Casey enthusiastic. Said he saw him work out in Houston a week ago. Hugely athletic, massive peak.

"Bruno is an athletic phenomenon," said Casey. I'll just leave that there.

I trust Masai and this scouting team. I've never seen the Raps spend so much effort on scouting as this year.

we have to remember, this is the GM that traded Bargnani for a first round pick, a FIRST. and a somewhat more servicceable player in novak, and got rid of rudy and almost got us 50 wins.... #itrustmasai
