I think that is exactly it. They'll put him through summer league and see how he compares. If it's really bad he might not be here next season, but I think most likely they'll follow through with their words and put him on the roster.

Besides, he can't be worse than what someone like Novak provided last year right?

it's not about being worse, as much as wasting one year on a cheap contract

truth is though, by the time he's due for a pay increase, we may already be in luxury territory anyway, so cap space won't be much of an issue.

Default Highlight tape

I noticed there wasn't a true highlight tape for Bruno, so I took some time out and made this to show Rap's fans just what he can do.

Don't take too much from SL, bikes looked fantastic and look what he can do in the NBA :mu:

He will get lost many times, the fact that he can't speak English is a big problem. I'm not expecting much but excited to see him play

I watched a scouting report on this guy

hope this link works, he looks very talented but needs to work on his defense and mark the right people.

If the kid hustles and tries his hardest, at the stage he's currently at, he'll be alright in my books.

Is he going to be part of our 2014-2015 roster? I read we signed him to a rookie contract, but not sure if he still has any commitment/ buy-out issues with another club.

Once you’ve come to terms with his impossible wingspan, you begin to see skill. Caboclo’s raw, to be sure, but he’s not just some long athlete the Raptors are trying to teach how to play basketball. “I love everyone (that) says he's two years away from being two years away, because those people don't know anything about basketball,” Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. “(Caboclo) has just as much talent as a lot of these guys.”

Nope no problems. Besides I'm pretty sure a player can't sign a contract if they haven't been bought out from.current team.
He will be on the bench next year

Question, too many pages to go through but I was curious enough to ask, Cabo is 6'9" and 18 and much like GA he's predicted to grow another inch or two over the next year; if he does grow like GA and at 19-20 he's 6'-11 with a 7'7" ws and around 230ish, could he be the future PF of the team? A stretch 4 / 3....along the lines of Durant. He was playing as a stretch 4 in SL with Daniels at the 3 but that's SL. I quite like Daniels 3 and D game (hope he makes the roster sooner than later) and I really like the idea of a front court with ridiculous wingspans of Cabo, PP, Nogs and JV would bring. Of course, I'm referring 2-3 years away but as all things, those 2-3 years seem to speed by.
