Davis is raw in every sense of the word. People shouldn't expect him to come in and make an immediate impact. It'll be like Derozan this season. He'll come along slowly. It'll take him a couple of years to fully develop.
Is that really what the Raps need? Another guy with "potential". Let's get some guys in here that can do it now!

You're not going to find that with picks 13, etc. Its a gamble. Its hard to find a guy who will come in right away and be a star at that pick. Look at past results.

Completely disagree. That's Raps need to rebuild instead of constantly trying to doctor quick fixes. Bide your time and load up with young potential.

Are you kidding? Unless you're getting a top-5 pick and even still if you get one, it takes a while to guy to develop coming straight to the pros.
Who really were you gonna get to come in right away and make an impact at #13?

I like Brackins. He'll be a solid pro. I know a lot of teams wanted him.

I can't believe they let him make the selections tonight. I'd fuck up the draft on purpose.

Actually, yes, the Raps need prospects. Sorry, dude, but the landscape of the Eastern conference is changing.

Washington: Loads of young talent and assets to improve quickly.

Philly: Loads of young talent and assets to improve quickly.

Orlando: Already a good team, even with their bloated payroll.

Atlanta: Will fall back if Johson leaves, but they still have assets and talent.

Milwaukee: Two good players at the important positions (PG, C). Cap room next yer.

Chicago: Possibly becoming a dynastry.

Miami: Possibly becoming a dynasty.

New Jersey: assets and cap space. They could improve quickly.

The Raps ARE NOT winning any time soon without a miracle. BC might as well accumalate as many picks and prospects as possible over the next 2 seasons. And then develop and a talented team that grows together or use those assets to make smart trades for a couple of all-stars.

we should have traded the pick in a package to get us something. Everyone else is rapid firing , wheeling and dealing and BC is missing out.

That Miracle could be Bostons demise.
If this happens:
Doc Rivers retires.
Ray Allen signs elsewhere.
Paul Pierce Opts out.

Who do you think wins this division?
