All he said was that NY had a young core.

Dunno who's feeding him this information since they have all of 3 players completely signed going into next year

Go Go NYPost editing quotes to say one thing.

I brought this up earlier today. He was asked by some NY area radio station last night about NY, and he said he's taking both NY/NJ into consideration and also mentioned that Toronto is in there as well. What was he gonna say, no way F-U?

He also said we'll know more after the draft. Given that nyk doesn't have a pick, that's actually a strong signal he's not really interested in going there.

Either that or he's just refering to July 1st, which is a week after the draft. He'll see what's done by Toronto at the draft, and then see what he wants to do i imagine. I remember him saying that his thought process about Free Agency is that he was gonna look at everything including draft picks, possible FA moves and then he'll make his decisions from there. In other words he's gonna really look at what every team is doing and will take what teams pick who in the draft and see what combinations might work with him going forward.

That's exactly what he was saying in that interview.

Don't have a clue how that turned into another "bosh is leaving" report.

He was directly telling the interviewer "Let's see what team looks like the best fit for me after the deadline (including Toronto)"

Yeah I really doubt he is "strongly considering" NY.. I recall him laughing at the suggestion earlier this year.

what if we take a PF in the draft because he hasn't committed himself to the team

Yeah Toronto is in a real hard spot heading into the draft not knowing A) will Bosh stay? and B) if Bosh goes what do we get in return? I guess that being said they can just say fuck it and draft on pure talent.. but that seems difficult considering there will be possibly 8-9 guys to choose from of more or less equal potential.

I really hope things are a bit clearer for BC based on talks with other teams and Bosh himself.

If they draft a PF and Bosh ends up staying then amir will likely be gone. he will be the pivot point

I don't think the 'best player available' is a PF at our spot in the draft.

I may be wrong though.

you usually draft a player in the lottery to be a starter
if Bosh stays then we could trade the PF we pick in a package to another team

Ed Davis could fall or Patterson if George, Henry and Bradley are gone

i think patterson could slip, he could very well be the best player available at our pick if that was to happen.
