Nuggets Sign Joey Graham

Looks like Denver might be Joey's next home.

I'll miss the guy....i'd rather have him than weems, douby, banks or obryant.

Good luck to him. Nice kid...just an inconsistant player.

I'm happy for Joey. I always cheered for him and I wish him the best moving forward!

Now please, somebody send Chuck a memo on Joey. LOL

Really? Why not?

He didn't prove much while here. And in this climate, not shocking at all to me. The fact is while here, he was mostly burried on the bench. So burried on the bench in Toronto of all places pretty much gets you nothing guaranteed.

Probably the league minimum. This is his time to prove himself. He started to last season, now he needs to take another step. Otherwise he'll be in Europe next year.

Agreed!
He also is not clutch, he can't dribble, he isn't a good defender, his 3pt shot has disappeared, he doesn't rebound well & only shows up six games a year to show us what he could be capable of...

I hope he learns from having a bad free agent summer, that he just can't coast in the NBA anymore.

Maybe because with Douby, Jose will not have to wave his arms around and yell DOUBY! DOUBY! DOUBY! I pass you the ball.

Maybe.

That and maybe someone will have to backup Jack when Jose hurts himself, and that wouldn't be Joey.

Douby is useless.

So I don't give a fuck what name Jose yells out, at least Joey has an NBA body, and to be honest, he wasn't too much of a defensive liability.

Whatever, scrubs are scrubs.... I just know that if I have to choose, I choose ascrub that can at least battle.

An "NBA body" is useless if you don't have an "NBA brain". If I have to choose one or the other then give me the brain.

I never said that but he has the skills to fit the system and he's more intelligent than Joey. On top of that the Raptors just went out and traded for a player that fits Joey's role and that guy's name is Amir.

I gotta side with the pro-Joey guys on this one. Assuming they got him for the minimum (or something close to it), then they got themselves a great pickup. Joey wasn't the sharpest knife, but he was useful to have on the roster. Good variety to his game, and one of the few guys that took it strong inside when this team needed him to.

Well they got a pickup. Great pickup is a stretch at this point. Joey Graham has never shown any kind of consistency. He's not that bright, not a great shooter, athletic but extremely unaggressive, not very good on defense.

All that being said, i wouldn't have minded if he was re-signed here for added depth behind Turkoglu and Wright, possibly affording us to play Wright a little more at the 2 spot then is now expected.

unaggressive?

Hardly. There were times when he was one of the more aggressive guys on the team.
