wow if this traded ever happened it would be a dream

sullinger is the type of player they need, post scoring and rebounding, they already have a athletic big, they need a plotter, especially when the game slows down and gets into a half court set,

realistically the 8th pick, demar and ed would never get it done, even though harden isn't a allstar yet we all knwo he is, he has come so far in the past two years that he is at the brink of becoming a superstar

I think they'd strongly consider hanging up on you. The only way they'd consider this is if they've decided they can't keep Harden and Ibaka (which I don't think they have) and they've decided they're choosing Ibaka over Harden (which I don't think they have). Harden is already arguably the third best SG in the NBA, a guy that would explode on another team.
Obviously this is just my guess work versus your guess work, but I just don't see it being close.

Harden is the next guy fans of other teams are going to prematurely annoint as a future franchise player and overpay. Dude is good, but let's not get carried away. Also, OKC will likely keep Ibaka or both if they trade Westbrook but I doubt that happens

Just off the top of my head, but I'm not sure there's 20 guys in the league I'd rather have on my team next season than Harden. The guy's already a stud. Watch when he gets to run the offence. Obviously there's the fear of what happens when he doesn't have two other monster offensive players with him, but I'd throw the max at him if he were a RFA.

Harden isn't a RFA until 2013. And that summer, they have 48Mil commited. He's going nowhere.

Getting off topic here, but it's not that simple. That 48 million is with 5 players on the books. Fill in the other 6 spots with, for arguments sake, 4 year experience minimum salaries (I'm using 2010-2011 numbers as it's the latest I found in my quick search, so they would now be even higher I believe) which is $915,852. That's another $5,495,112 in salary.

Again, we're assuming no draft picks and just vet minimum salaries here with no existing players picking up options or the team picking up options. We're now at about $53.5 million. Now let's assume the cap rises to $65 million. You have $11.5 Million to sign Ibaka and Harden before you're over the cap. That's almost enough to get one of them. If Ibaka signs for close to that amount, and I think he'll get $10 mil a year easy, then Harden's contract puts them $18 mil or so over the cap.

That's a very long winded way to say, I don't think it's that simple. Keep in mind this is thrown together with numbers quickly looked up, so don't take them for gospel, but I think they're close.

Pretty sure OKC would spit at anyone suggesting it.

agree with this,

he wont' be traded

one thing about hijm though is he might have the baron davis issue a couple of years from now, a weight issue, he is already chunky, if he gains more weight he might hurt himself or become to slow

if he doesnt watch his weight he will become dangerously close to the next baron davis, can dominate games whenver he feels like doing so but wont because of the weight issue

Weight? If he's over weight we all have problems. That's not over weight imo. The only thing about him that's like Davis is the beard.

not if the alternative is to lose him or ibaka. Because the trade really becomes (from their perspective), ibaka, derozan, davis or harden ...
