Jose doesn't rebound, that's an issue.

I'd rather someone else grab the board and have them throw the outlet to Jose to start the break.

Jose doesn't have the speed to race from end to end like Paul/Rondo.

Of course you would think that.

So are you saying only certain players on the court should rebound, instead of all 5 guys? That Jose should do what he usually does, and watch and wait for the ball to come his way?

Depends on the situation of course. In a tight game in the 4th of course all of our guys should look to rebound.... but for the most part I think that Bosh/Bargs/Joey/Moon should be able to handle it.

For a team that wants to run, one guy should be ready to break, not stand under the net looking for a board. Chances are that player leaking out is gonna bring his defender with him, so it balances out.

You got to have the ball to run, and if the other team has 5 guys securing possession of the ball, and you got 4, more often than not, you'll lose.

If that's the case then yes, Jose has to rebound.... or you have to make them pay with fast break dunks/lay ups.

You make it seem like it's one or the other Torap. Get the rebound or fastbreak.

Good teams do both.

Good teams have..

a) been playing together for a while

and

b) have at least one dominant rebounder and a few other very good ones.

I think that we're better on the glass now than we used to be. We'll get there. Marion would def. help in that respect.
