Cool No Gay, Bargnani or Anderson, doesn't it feel good?

Doesn't it feel great not to have a blackhole on offense anymore? You don't have to worry about that one guy that you KNOW is gunna shoot when he gets the ball, probably a horrible shot, and likely miss? Without these chuckmasters, our team is passing the ball beautifully and running the offense with no hidden agendas or selfish attempts from players. We truly look to find the best possible shot, whether it's an open shot, a mismatch, a hot hand etc.

Gay, Bargnani and AA were the ultimate chemistry killers and I'm so happy they're gone so our ball club can develop and improve at the fastest rate possible. It's definitely a team first attitude through-out the locker room. (Not to mention defense, but that's not my point)

Sure, Anderson is arguable, because if he's on a leash like in his first year here and in Brooklyn now, he's decent, but there was IMO no worst chucker than him last year.

No more cringing and doubt about anyone on this team anymore, and when a shot is missed on offense, you just say "what the fuc* ya' gunna do?" via Jay Triano!

Agreed?

Bargs and Rudy were terrible at that.. their shots were just as bad as turnovers...

as for Anderson, it wasn't as bad because a lot of his shots were big, and he came off the bench

I wouldn't put AA in the same category given his age, contract and relatively low value.

I also recall people here saying we would miss a clutch scorer after trading away Gay.
I don't think that has been the case at all, has it?

We're not even in close games anymore

What does that have to do with it? I would put him in the same category, just because of how he possibly cost the development of some of our young wing players by just taking the most ridiculous shots possible and basically taking every chance he could to attempt a shot. It was easily almost all for his next contract IMO. I watched practically every game last year, and he was horrible. I remember the forum going crazy. He made a big shot or two, that doesn't mean much. In the end, Casey shouldn't have gave him the green light for that long.

True.

Although, he's a career journeyman and yes, like you say he had only his agenda. And, DC furthered it by giving him minutes. Would put more of the blame on DC for playing him.

It does feel nice to not have any players I passionately hate on the roster.

Not gonna lie I enjoyed raging and laughing at Alan Andersen. With a winning record though it wouldn't be fun anymore.

Same, hard to like a player who has played so poorly, ineffectively and inefficiently thus far. Honestly at the moment I'm looking at him as an interesting trade chip.

Yeah, there's always lots of value in those poor playing, ineffective and inefficient players...

Even Bosh in his prime was a ball stopper. Talented player, could go 1 on 2, but if you dumped the ball to him in the post, it took 3 seconds just for him to make up his mind and then if he was executing a move he'd play with the ball a lot.

I really like the fluidity to our offence when things are clicking for this team.

Exactly, I'd put CB in the post instead of AA, who's doing great for the Nets, and I'm happy for him.
Anyway AB leaving is the single greatest thing for this franchize!
Bosh is soft.
Gay, I believe, could've worked. Also wait until playoffs, then you'll see the need for a clutch player.

anderson would be good on this team right now. To be fair, we probably don't need him, but he'd be as good as salmons, maybe better.

He's been a bit of a chucking black hole. Its fixable I think though.

I prefer salmons to AA. Passing, defense, leadership, rebounding all better than AA.

Some teams/management/GMs may really like him from his play in NOH. Also, he may have value as a trade chip but I never stated he has lots of value. Maybe a more reliable backup PG with 1-2 second rounders from a team that's looking to play mainly youth/prospects and are in the 1-7 draft range atm.

Salmons is and has been better than AA. AA = struggling journeyman whereas Salmons has had a decent NBA career.
