I agree. I won't put AA with Gay and Bargs. AA is a great defender and a hustler. I didn't mind him here. No need to spread hate on the guy.

I really like the fluidity to our offence when things are clicking for this team.
Pretty sure that was more a function of our shit team than anything else.

This team is MUCH more balanced from top to bottom than any team Bosh was a part of. And they actually play D too!

The current starting 5> than any of CB's starting 5s.

However, the 06/07 team > current team depthwise.

I think Rudy is being made out to be the goat here.

He has played great in Sac Town. It just didn't work out for him here. Too bad

I'm not saying I'm not glad he's gone. I'm saying I just wish he could have bought in to what were doing now.

I am glad Ross is getting PT now.

agreed. ideally. i'd love to have the current version of Gay on the raps.

at a decent price of course.

the guy is playing within himself. disciplined. pretty impressive really.

Vasquez haters please remember how poorly Jose shot in his first year here.
He'll pick it up, steady playing time and role will cure it.

Yes, he WAS the goat here. He would never have bought in here because his ego had him being the #1 player here. In Sac Town, Cousins and IT2 have pushed Gay back to the 3rd option where he belongs. He isn't a #1 player.

He makes 19 million dollars. No matter what he did it wasn't enough. And of course he's the goat. He is just too selfish and too egotistical, and if that even has changed now its not because of the team its for self preservation.

No matter how good he is playing we are a better team than Sac. And most importantly Ross and JV gets much more touches. I'm glad that he is gone

Rudy Gay shooting like 57% fg and 90% ft in Sacramento. It would feel great to have those stats here.

He had his chance here to do that and we all know how that turned out. It's time to move on.

I was close enough.lol. Over his last 10 or 15 games he's doing even better than that.

I definitely agree. At the time he was doing way more harm than he was worth.

I think its flat out obvious that Gay was a problem here. Its not blind luck that we litterally turned into a diffrent team once he left. And its not just that were playing good, Derozen, Lowery both playing way better without him here, were passing the ball like crazy, no one is selfish, and we play way better D...and to be honest, At the way there playing I would rather have Salmons and PP on my team over Gay cause there true team players.....

I agree with your comment that we are better without him, but it has lots to do with the combination of the loss of Gay and the pick-up of 4 excellent bench players. PP and Salmons have been great. Even if GV hasn't been great, the rotation is stable. Hayes can clearly play BB and doesn't hurt us. Having a excellent second unit and frankly PP playing better than Amir has been a big part of why we are better now.
Casey playing a set rotation certainly also helps ...

I'm glad Rudy is gone ... has clearly helped our starters develop a bond that wasn't evident when he was here.

I haven't enjoyed Raptor ball this much in years ... thanks

I think it's a combination of a really improved depth and the shooting touches spread more evenly across the board. Hard to tell which aspect is more important, but both have definitely contributed.
