Newsday: Five teams want to trade for CB4

According to Newsday.com CB4 is creating alot of buzz around the league because between him, Wade & LBJ Chris is the one thought to be the most likely not to re-up with his respective team in 2010. And so far, the 5 teams that have made it pretty clear want him are Miami,Chicago,Golden State,NY and Cavs. Now i'm guessing that almost half the league will try to make a pitch for CB4, but these are the so called front runners. At least it would seem. Makes sense to, because i have a feeling Lebron will remain a Cavalier and Wade imo would probably only go to a few teams instead of Miami. Therefore making Bosh the hottest commoditty.

So who do you think would make our best trading partner out of these teams if the decision was made to trade CB4 (S&T)?

I agree, plus they have nice young talented wing players.

Randolph, Belinelli, Wright, Ellis, Crawford. Then add to those players the possibility of picking up Biedrins. Very intriguing, and if they get a top 3 pick and we land 9th we can swap picks.

IMO any deal has to also include one of our bad contracts (Kapono or Banks). Do to them what Miami did to us.

These five teams are just the tip of the iceburg in my opinion. Once june comes and leading into the draft, word will leak on wether or not Chris wants out or not and let the rumors fly at that point. Like i said, i'm guessing close to half the teams in the league will be calling.

why would we trade with those teams when we can trade him to the west and never worry about Bosh again, the no 1 target to me is OKC in a sign and trade making sure Bosh doesn't bolt on OKC, we get green and there pick and they westbrook, durant and Bosh as there core

If a return we get in the East is better than any return we might get in the West, I wouldn't think twice about making a deal in the East.

The more I read, the sexier GS offers are. We trade Bosh and filler for Crawford, Biedrins, maybe Belinelli and there top 5 pick this year.

We get that offer, then we trade Bosh. But nothing less imo

Why is everyone in love with Golden State? We take their 2/3 and 5. They're one of the world defensive teams in the league. And the guy's we are keeping in our starting 5 are Calderon and Bargnani (Bargs plays decent D though).

So check this out.

Calderon vs. Rose
Crawford vs. Gordon
Belinelli vs. Deng
Bargs vs. Thomas
Biedrins vs. Noah

6th + 7th man?
Draft Pick, Parker vs. Salmons, Miller

The only matchup we win is Bargnani and maybe Biedrins. We can't gaurd anyone. And chicago is a number 8 seed... not even a championship team. If we trade Bosh for the garbage that Golden State has.. we will not make the playoffs for atleast 3 more years.

golden state does have some good defenders: jackson, randolph, wright are good. bellineli is actually not that bad, I ever heard jeff van gundy comment in the winter that marco's D on Kobe was the best he's seen all year. turiaf and azubiki aren't terrible, either. biedrins is tricky because he's really not that good of a good defender but eats up rebounds.

anyway, assuming a jackson, randolph, wright, bellineli package and lining them up against the bulls like bmats did--

jose - rose --bulls
jackson - salmons/gordon --raps
marion - deng --raps (close, but i think marion's defense will edge)
randolph/wright - thomas --raps (another close one though)
bargnani - noah --raps

doesn't look so bad to me.

We'll never get those 3 players plus a top 5 pick for Bosh (Banks or?). If we could, then trade him wether he likes it or not!
