Exclamation News from the other side of Atlantic

Raptors vice-president and GM's assistant Maurizio Gherardini isin Siauliai (Lithuania) past few days, watching youth Euroleague games and scouting for possible prospects.
His next stop is Vilnius (Lithuania) to meet 21 y/o serbian Nemanja Nedovic currently playing in Lietuvos Rytas (same club Jonas Valanciunas been playing). According to press, there is already bright future in Raptors being drawn for him.

On the side note, Gherardini talked some about Kleiza and JV.
Jonas should be back playing next week and will likely to come off the bench. Kleiza however is struggling with his knee problems, medics are waiting for some muscles to get stronger before letting him on court, this might not happen this season tho :O When asked about possible trade involving Kleiza, Gerardini said no team wants injured players.

some random Nemanja Nedovic vid I found:

I'm always a supporter on trying out European talent.

Never know when you'll find the next Shved, Pekovic, etc...

Here's a pretty recent video detailing his strengths and weaknesses. And thanks for the update!

Nedovic is like Shved, only way worse. Dude's young, but still, kinda dumb, very questionable decision making, he's like westbrook, only worse in each and every category, a lot

How old are players when they are able to join the nba without having to go through the draft?

I really like that video. It's pretty well gone and info intensive. Thanks for that.

By the way, it mentions him as a 2013 draft prospect. Perhaps he's in consideration for one of our second rounders?

Interesting prospect. Would be nice for a change to have a European PG that actually attacks/drives the rim.

But not from Lietuvos Rytas, the team is playing horrible this season. There are definintely no nba players on that team.

Or Tskitishvili

Anyway that Nedovic guy seems decent, he could be a decent backup, which means Colon jelly is gonna sign him to a 4 year, $30 million contract

with our 2nd rounder!?

or do you mean get legit talent through trade? great idea, and then just forget about using our draft pick!?

guy looks like he could be a good use of a 2nd rounder and we'll need a PG next season. Don't know the guy but it's never a huge risk taking a prospect on 2nd round rookie contract.
