Never mind that that's how the coach is asking him to play to fit the system. Fish don't give milk, and cows can't flap their fins.
I don't believe that Casey has any sort of game plan at all, but if that is it, which I highly doubt then he's an idiot, and Lowry is just showing how much worse of a PG and a player he is than Jose Calderon.

For years, isn't that exactly what people hear used against Calderon? Didn't they say that the only reason why his numbers were so good was because he would kill the shot clock then pass it off to get the assist? If that's what Lowry is being asked to do, then damn..

Move over Chris Paul. we have the best PG in the league (Will that get me thumbs up?)

I still think Lowry is a top 10 PG, just not in Toronto. In Toronto, top 15. He's our best player ffs, intangibles and talent.
I don't know who you are bazinga, but you gonna call me an idiot?

Lowry has played pretty well lately especially considering he has a torn up finger...

Dude he's barely good enough to be a bench player. He'll be lucky to get another contract.

If you think that posting more gives you the right to act like some high and mighty dickhead that personally attacks people with a different opinion then yes, you are an idiot. If you can post/reply respectfully then no.
I disagree with everything you just said but that's my opinion.
I have experienced a few ignorant posters here that are childish, rude and try to be as condescending as possible and feel that they deserve to be responded to in kind. Personally i'd prefer not to even read anything they post since they clearly don't have anything useful to say, so if there's some way to block their posts please let me know and I can get that done asap, thanks.

There's a way to block users and their posts. Not sure how since I've never done it and well can't but it exists. Just play around with the settings.

I've gone through all of his posts and the replies, and his complaints just don't ring true. I've given him a one week ban and asked him to either move on from the slights he perceives, or just move on altogether.

Well, It's an opinion, and based on the names that are out there he isn't a top 10. The only one that should no longer be there is Nash.

When you look at that list you really realize how stacked the PG position is in the NBA. Last year at this time KL was ranked I think 12th and now he's probably around 20th. I do think that in a system that fits him he has the talent to be in that 10-15 range. Don't think this system under this coach is that place.

The same goes for SG and SF though too. We overvalue our guys based on what we hope they might be. There are in fact many guys that could be considered top whatever if they can just do _______.

I think you're right. He CAN be a 10-15 range PG but probably won't as a Raptor. He will turn 28 in March and at this point he is what he is, but I do hope to see him become a better player anyhow. I wonder which teams will try to sign him next season, but I have a feeling that everywhere he goes he will always be a borderline starter/backup PG. I don’t think he will be a Raptor next year though.

I'll fill in the blank. Winning as a team. And that's not about blind hopes or misplaced expectations. And it's still possible with this team right now, to some extent.

There are top 10 point guards, and then there are like 30 other point guards who can all possibly be 10-15 if they're in the right situation, with the right teammates, with the right system.

The differences between a guy like Lowry and Steve Blake, JJ Barea, Kemba Walker, Andre Miller, Pablo Prigioni, are what they are; differences. Not better, not worse.

When was the last time that Lowry had a match-up where he was able to really exploit his defender? He has a very hard time breaking guys down off the dribble consistantly. He kinds of lacks NBA speed, but makes up for it somewhat with his strength - but yet, he still has never been able to develop any moves in the post like Andre Miller or Chauncey Billups, nor does he appear to have the desire to.
