![]() Which new face will have the biggest impact in Toronto next season?
Marco Belinelli Jarrett Jack Amir Johnson Hedo Turkoglu Reggie Evans This poll is conducted on NBA.com and i decided to see how different would actual Raptors fan think compare to NBA fans... Also howcome they dont have wright...since most Raptors fan think he should be a starter...judging from the other poll we conducted on this form... I am going to add wright to this poll and see if we can get different results Last edited by Afghanraptor; 08-24-2009 at 06:41 PM. Reason: missed |

![]() Turkoglu - end of clock scorer the Raptors lacked
Jack - will decrease Jose's mins/solid backup PG Wright - Will provide D v. 2/3's Evans - provides toughness/rebounding upfront Belinelli - scoring off the bench (imo) |

![]() Meaning, we've always tried to add skilled player each offseason. When we brought in guys like Parker and Kapono they were skilled guys, guys who wouldn't get down and dirty, but played the game with a high IQ doing a few things well.
With Evans, he's a true hustler, will fight you where you stand. Hell, think about what he would've done when TJ was knocked down by Big Al? We never had that presence before but now we do. We got a guy the rest of the league hates and gives us a bit of an edge attitude wise. |

Overall we were far lacking in Skill & Toughness and both have been addressed nicely. |

![]() See, I don't understand how you don't see Kapono as a skilled player. Your blind hatred/dislike clouds alot of your judgement of players.
Jamario was a guy who could play and considering we had him for the min. was a good investment regardless of what he sometimes did. He won us a few games in his rookie season ( a game against Philly comes to mind) and his upside is quite large if he wasn't so damn complacent and really lazy. And the fact you think Kapono is dumb as a brick is hilarious. The fact that he's a damn good 3 pt shooter, a good passer and a good team defender (he wasn't the worst defender on this team last year) and plays with a high IQ tells me he was pretty good. Was he frustrating? Yes. But don't tell me he wasn't skilled. Again, for me, Evans will have the most noticeable impact on this squad. He addresses needs we sorely lacked. |

When we signed Kapono i was thrilled but it didn't take long to see he was not good at anything excep at shooting, which he did on occasion. The fact is he was a horrible ball handler... almost clutsy, his travelling was frustrating to watch, horrible defender, slow, unathletic. Blind hatred? Wow, if i dislike a player and you disagree you call it blind hatred? The fact is Kapono is a nice guy who lacks skills imo. Not that big of a deal.

![]() Unless he breaks his foot in the first minute of the first game, I think it's pretty clear that he should have the biggest impact. We did just pay him $53 million. He better have more impact than Amir Johnson or Antoine Wright. |
