DraftExpress NBA Draft Prospect Profile: Harrison Barnes, Stats, Comparisons, and Outlook

Theres a video on there that shows Barnes's strengths and weaknesses. Hes a really good clutch player and his defence looks solid. Looks like he needs to work on moving without the ball.

Why to me he looks 6'6 at top 6'7. A SF should be 6'8+

I don't think 1 inch really makes that much of a difference, especially if he has a long wingspan to compensate for it

+1. 1inch probably is not much of a difference. Harrison Barnes has a 7'0 wingspan also.

I am not sure he would end up being the first pick no matter who wins the lottery....but he'd be a good consolation prize.

Why does any body want Barnes? He has been compared to L. Deng & no one here likes Deng.

I like Deng. His contract? Not so much. They are similar athletes, gritty and willing defenders, but Barnes already has a more diverse offensive repertoire.

I like Deng. I thought he took a big step backwards after his injury, especially on defense, but that's all come back this season, and that's a big part of why we have Johnson.

Lol Barnes is better than DD already, and he's not even in the NBA yet.

I wouldn't be mad or happy, our team sucks, but hes still better than half the people on this one probably. But I don't think hes anything worth getting hyped over.

According to Marty Tirrell's Twitter, Harrison Barnes will be returning to the North Carolina Tar Heels for his sophomore season. Tirrell was the first to break the news during Barnes' senior year of high school that Barnes would be committing to UNC. Tirrell says Barnes will make the official announcement on Tuesday.

Tirrell hosts "The Mouth of the Midwest" radio show in Iowa that airs on ESPN 1700 and KCCI News Channel 8.

More news as it develops

Good for Barnes. Sucks for the draft but I like seeing players return to college BB.

He will become a more mature player for when he actually does come to the NBA. He probally didnt like the prospect fo coming to Torronto, Sactown, New Jersey, or Washington.
Besides you cant find better tang, then college Tang.
