Irving, Barnes, Walker are pretty much the only players i'd want at this point. Maybe T. Jones as well, but not really. I have no interest in us draft a big at all.

Those are the guys I like too - along with Derrick Williams. Valancuinas deserves a long look too though.

we could easily get a top 3 pick. and barnes is projected 12th by draftexpress. generally speaking he's projected to be 6-10th.

It's not set in stone until the lottery happens. That 5th spot is just a spot for weighting odds to win the lottery.

irving/bayless
DD/weems
Barnes/JJ
Amir/Ed/reggie(interchangeable in starting position)
bargs/dorsey/ed

only thing weel need to do is upgrade the centre position.
nope when ive looked at nbadraft.net, the mock draft for 2012 leans more heavily towards a small forward draft

There are 2 Centers and 5 PF's in the top 10 currently and only One possible SF, that being Barnes. T. Jones is a SF/PF so i suppose he's probably more considered to be a SF at least for now. Ultimately, in the top 5.....not one SF. Hell, the top 6 currently have 5 bigs listed.

i'd still rather draft irving as a PG, especially if we think demar can be that star wing in the future and the amir/ed combo with Bargs is our big men future

I don't know if I want Ed Davis' dad begging Colangelo to get a true centre like Al Horford's dad does. Colangelo was trying to get Tyson Chandler for a reason.

I wouldn't mind Kanter either I guess. Like SJ said, BPA is usually the way to go.

i actually dont think he will, and if he does i dont see him doing nearly as well as hes been hyped bout, at least for him first team. i see him doing well once he signs with a new team after hes gained some experience.

i predict him being a bust as number 1 pick and i definatly dont think he'll be the best player to come out of this draft.

He's only 18. He'll probably take a couple years to start excelling, but he'll be good eventually.

I haven't seen much of Kyrie actually playing, so I've been basing my opinion on what the "experts" have to say about him. NBADraft.net has his best case scenario as a CP3 lite, and his worst case is a Michael Conley type player. So I'm guessing that if we don't get that top pick, we can say good-bye to Kyrie.

yes but as i stated before i dont think he'll end up being the best in this draft. id put barnes, p jones, and sullinger ahead of him. heck dont forget bout terrance jones either. i just dont see him ever fulfilling what u expect out of a number one pick as much as other people available, he might end up being a Bargs for another team

His stock is rising back up. He could be a top 5 pick actually. Perry Jones is falling so he could take his place.

If we can't get Irving, Barnes is who I would pick next.

I agree there. And if not those two, then Kemba Walker would be next on my list. One of those three would make me pretty happy. And T. Jones wouldn't be bad either as a SF.
