It seems strange to hear about a player wondering what it would be like to be here, instead of a guy being here and wondering what it would be like to be elsewhere.

Quote:
Terrence Williams was benched for the first time this season Tuesday night, and the Nets say it was merely a coincidence.

It had nothing to do with his Twitter fixation – specifically, one he filed Monday about how he regrets being drafted by the Nets and wonders how his rookie season would have turned out in Toronto or Charlotte.

I dunno, I'd probably take DD over Terrence.

Kid deserves to be benched. He should thank the Lord that he has enough basketball talent to be in the NBA because it sounds like he has a two-penny brain.

Whatever the case its nice that you hear somewhat positive views about the raptors. Hey imagine if they had a better name and uniform

Totally refreshing hearing someone wanting to be on our team for a change.

I'd take DD over Williams 10 times out of 10, but it's still nice to hear.

He's upset that he got a DNP-CD last game and thinks it wouldn't have happened on a better team. But he deserved it. Terrence Williams is chucking at a historical rate right now. He's shooting 34% on 15 shots per 36 minutes. That's incredible. His TS% is .399, in comparison the really big chuckers like Iverson, Randolph, Jamal Crawford are usually around .500 (which is bad). You can count the players under .45 on one hand and the only ones under .400 right now period are him and Redd who's played a couple injured games. So he's having one of the most inefficient seasons of all time and shooting at a franchise player rate. No wonder he got benched.

theres a difference between a chucker and a scorer, Jamal Crawford can flat out score and hes been known to takea ll kinds of shots because of the teams he's been on warriors, knicks and bulls, a guy like Earl Smith is a real chucker who puts up anything from anywhere if hes open or not

I wonder what would've happened if the raps drafted CDR instead of Jawai, i know the Nets drafted him one pick before but what if the Nets drafted someone else.

He didn't say he wished he was a Raptor though. He also back tracked in a big way afterward... I expect him to be fined by the team.

He plays 2 games in the season and then he does this. Who good does he think he is?

BIZZ-UMP *Snoop Dog voice*

I was hard on T-Will earlier in the season, since he looked like a total chucker, but he's been playing some decent ball in March and April. After noticing that he had a tripple-double tonight, I decided to look at his recent stats to see if this was an anomally or a sign of recent progress.

Here are his stats for March and April (19 games):

PPG: 14.4

RPG: 6.5

APG: 5.4

FG%: .436

Yes, I know the Nets suck. Yes, I know he gets more touches with the Nets than he would elsewhere. I'm not saying I'd necessarily want him over DD. I'm just impressed by how much better this guy is playing lately.

He also get more PT because of injury plague players.

Well if he doesn't develop into a decent player wit all the PT there is no excuse. DD would be so much better if we played him more or if he was on the NETS.

this is what Terrence Williams had to say after the game

"A couple of players from the Raptors that I know just texted me and said, 'Thank you,'" explained Williams. "In my head I was like, 'Thank you for what?... Oh, the eight spot.'"

Demar Derozen appears to be the player

I like demar but I wonder if he wouldn't mind playing with his boy in New jersey next season

but if New jersey lands John Wall do they trade Devin Harris

and our pg play being inconsistent wouldn't be a good idea to try and trade for him maybe use a Demar as trade bait with Jack, especially since Sonny has the sthe same exact game as him, mid-ranger who can dunk and d-up
