Raptors Nets complaining about the lack of calls (calling us floppers)

I recall Pierce after game one saying there was no point in complaining about calls (regarding our fans bitching) and said this is the playoffs, you need to play through it.

Quote:
Stefan Bondy ✔ @NYDNInterNets
Kidd came in with agenda to get more respect from referees for Joe Johnson: "Joe is a strong individual. Unfortunately, he doesn't flop."

Kidd says the Nets may even have to flop. If so, hopefully for him they learned to do it well when they had training camp at Duke.

Don't want to write the Nets off just yet. But fact that a $180 million team has to be angling for calls is a little disappointing.

Jason Kidd said the lack of calls and free throws for Joe Johnson were "mind-boggling."

Maybe they should stop trying to barrel over our players outside the restricted area, instead of accusing the raps of flopping. I'm sure the NBA would have issued us a warning if that was the case.

It's hilarious because all the trolling Nets fans making fun of our team for commenting on the reffing are going to have to do some backpedaling at this point.

At least our coaching staff had a more mature and dignified attitude regarding the reffing. I don't have a lot of respect for Kidd right now.

Kidd should worry about why his team was down by 26 points in game 5 of a playoff series.

I love this quote...What does the teams overall salary have to do with getting calls?...oh wait, its the NBA, and in this league, the amount of money you make, and the amount of all star games you have attended should be THE DETERMINING factor when it comes to getting calls. Excuse my language, but this guy needs to go fuck himself for saying that shit.

A huge turning point in the game that I feel led to the nets eventually winning Game 1 was that insanely ridiculous phantom flop that Williams did when he 'got hit in the head by Lowerys elbow, went down to the floor and got the incredibly late call that was 100% based on his reaction post the phantom hit. That shit will be taught in the NBA's Flop 101 class starting this off season. Not only did he get away with it, but he didn't even get fined or get a warning......and they are complaining because they think Lowery is a flopper...screw off Brooklyn. There just pissed that their old ass team has nothing left in the take to take us down.

Joe Johnson doesn't get many calls mostly because we don't defend him... at all. What calls does JK want on his uncontested floaters exactly?

I think he means a team with that much payroll, expectations and talent looks desperate when whining about calls/flopping.

.
I think it has more to do with the fact that a 180m team shouldn't be in this position. Not that they deserve calls or anything.

When your team is primarily a chucking team (they had the most 3's attempted since Jan.1) don't complain about calls. Our team individual defense is great. Their team defense is phenomenal but when demar gets the iso good luck stopping him with slow ass Livingston. This team got a BS call with the technical on GV in game 3. Yes it appeared to be a foul on demar (near the end of the gane 5) but remember the 3rd game when Landry tried to get the ball but was undercut by Livingston? What's annoying is, they will probably get calls now.

J. Kidd- pure genius. Tell the world that you're going to play the flopping game, so the ref's can be on high alert for it. And you're dissing their work so far in the series in the same sentence. Way to play 2 for 1 Jason.

Jason Kidd = nothing more than a fucking bald headed, douche bag, asshole. Never respected him as a player and will never respect him as a person. Just go spill your drink again, but this time slip on it and break your hip.

Lol Kidd is looking more sad by the day. I actually respected him and hoped for a good series. Now I just want raps to rape them game 6

IMO he is likely the dirtiest HC in the NBA. He was an asshole in his playing career, seems like an asshole in his personal life and as a coach I would never trust him and in this case he and his team are coming off as major hypocrites.

It is a strategy and it will probably work. I can see Raptors being in foul trouble next game.
