Need some advice regarding seating
Hey all,

I'm pretty new here, but I have a question for you all. My girlfriend and I are flying from P.E.I. to Toronto to see the Raps vs. Pistons on March 26th. We are in the process of booking tickets and I am just wondering if there are any sections I should completely avoid? I don't plan to buy courtside seats, but I would like to find something with a good view of the court and no obstructions. I'm willing to spend a bit more for better seats, as this will be my first time seeing the Raptors and I'm a huge fan.

Any help that can be offered is very much appreciated.

I can't believe I messed up the thread title on my very first post.

Now that's lame.

Welcome to the site, and I took the liberty of fixing your thread title. :)

Check this URL to see 3D seat plans and a virtual view of your seats:

The Air Canada Centre is known to have good seats no matter where you sit. The Sprite Zone has cheap tickets and they usually give out prizes during the game, but it is in the upper corner of the arena.

The only thing I've found from my experience is that if you sit in the purple section, your view is unobstructed, but don't sit in the top 4 rows. For some reason, ventilation is poor there and it's extremely hot as all the warm air dwells up there.

Maybe others can give their tips as well.

Hey Rory, I wish I could help you but I don't know much about tickets or seats at the ACC. If you can check on here tomorrow at some time, one of our members here LyRrAd_Nation knows a ton about tickets, seats, prices, etc., so he might be able to help you out and answer some of your questions. :)

Welcome to the board by the way. :D

Thanks for the help/advice guys. I'll definitely keep checking this thread.

Sit on the side if you want to truly appreciate what these guys can do out there. The endzones are okay, but you have the backboard to contend with and you really only get to see one end of the play decently.

Hey Rory, welcome aboard. Personally speaking, there's not really a bad seat in the house (okay, there are a couple) in the ACC. My seats are in 301 and I think they're great. The closer to centre court you can sit though, the better.
