Default The NBA's most one-dimensional players

Reggie Evans (rebounding)

If you're trying to find the worst offensive player in the NBA, you might want to look closely at Evans. The 6-foot-9, 245-pound power forward scored 79 baskets in 72 games for the Sixers last season, shooting 44 percent from the field and 59 percent from the line. He delivered just 26 assists all season and wasn't an intimidator on defense either, blocking just eight shots. So why was he a key reserve? He grabbed 361 rebounds, or one every 3.2 minutes. (The NBA's premier rebounder, Dwight Howard, grabbed one every 2.6 minutes.) In his seven-year career, Evans has averaged 4.3 points and 6.9 rebounds. The June trade sending Evans to Toronto for Jason Kapono may be the most straight-up swap of rebounding for 3-point shooting in league history

The thing with Reggie is, he's not even nice at all on man-to-man D

ppl think he is nice on D just because he's great at boxing out and fighting for boards, but he can't play D or O for shit lol

I really hope Johnson gets most of the minutes

72 baskets all season, 26 assists, 8 blocks, lollll

So what, I don't care if all he has is rebounding. He's got hustle. He can power the ball in. He's a good guy to have off the bench. I like to think it's hard to score on a 280lb guy.

Kapono had a horrible contract and did nothin for this team, who cares if he is bad at scoring, I think we have more than enough players to score on this team, and shit if he can stay at his average of 7 boards per game then that's all we need from him, the rest of the team can worry about scoring...... Oh and in sorry but Ben Wallace is the worst scorer for sure

Exactly, even then, Kapono averaged a whoppping 8PPG last season. It's not as if we're losing a prolific scorer here. He's basically a 7-8PPG guy, who cares.

Yeah I think everyone remembers our cheerleader last season

Hassan Adams. He was the first person off the bench to give high fives and applauding on dunks.

But yes, we knew this with Reggie. He doesn't like offence, he boards, something we really really need.

The intimidation factor Reggie brings to the table by way of being physical, grimy, and straight up getting down and dirty is enough to make up for what he lacks in the shot blocking department.

I see him being able to help a guy like Bargnani learn the finer points of rebounding. I also feel his tough attitude may catch on with others.

I think the additions of Evans, Johnson, Rasho all will help Bargnani. Add to that his experience last year with playing alongside JO for six months, he should be a decent rebounder this season. Not spectacular, but he should be around 7RPG imo.
