11-9

This is a team (mostly) that was together last year, while a few other teams who look like losses on paper (Houston/Atlanta) will take time to play well together (There's even a chance we beat a team like Brooklyn like that, so I've hedged my bets with another loss somewhere - as in I think we may even beat the Lakers). A little too optimistic? GOOD - I'm tired of all of this tanking talk!

*Although, that being said, if we start 4-19 again this season, I'm all for trading away assets, and giving the time to the young players.

If 11-9 is going to happen, then I think the Rap absolutely need to take those first 3 games in a row. Although not likely, I still think that's possible since Boston is at home and Milwaukee has 10 new players and a new coach. It's just that those back-to-backs so quickly are a potential killer. This team really, really needs to build some momentum early if they want to prevent distractions from trade rumours, I would guess. If they lose to Atlanta and Milwaukee, a 2-8 start is likely. I suspect the reporters would become negative nancies very quickly.

I really want that 3-0 start.

Imo best case scenario we're like at like 7 wins or 6 and we're losing close games but our guys are playing well and increase their trade value.

Lol I seriously doubt we can win 3 in a row(2 on the road) to start off the season, beat Chicago, Denver, Golden State on the road and San Antonio.

How the fuck don't we have more nationally televised games? We have 3 key players who are major high flyers and we sell out games.

We also have the summer league MVP lol

unlike other teams we have the same starting lineup and the coach. Why not be more cohesive at start of the season?

If they go 8 and 12 in there first 20 I would be extremely happ about there prospects of making the playoffs considering Raptors always pick it up in January. Even some of the worst raptor teams have played well in jan

i'm an optimistic guy but i only see a max of 8 wins there, it seems a really tough start to me.

yeah, december looks really tough too. but the schedule has to come back to us at some point. I'm going for 11-17 by the end of dec, which leaves room to get back to .500.

5-15. I would like more wins but it is easiest for me to imagine a few wins with many close losses.

You mean like that team in San Antonio that just made it to the finals?

I think you're greatly overrating how much 3 months of playing together is going to do for us. You don't get bonus points for keeping the same team.
