I prefer our broadcast to the ABC one anyways... last year I went back to the familiar after a quarter

Agreed.

The ABC braodcast will undoubtedly consist of:

A) 90% talk about the other team
B) 9% talk about what kind of sandwiches Lebron James, Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant like (This assuming the game is not against Cleveland, Boston or LA. If it is, we can forget about Raps talk altogether)
B) The 1% of Raptors talk being about Kobe's 81 point game or shocking revelations like, "Can you believe the story of this Jamario Moon kid?"

Yes, Mark Jackson. Yes, we can believe it.

You know when TJ comes back he's going to kill us right?
I hope it happens with Jermaine too.

Alright, now that the sched's out, can we have some game of predictions here? How many wins and losses ratio do you guys think the Raps will have this year? Will they surpass the 47 mark? Come on god dammit, I wanna know your 2cents lmao.

Looking at the national tv games per team:

Quote:
Lakers: 25
Celtics: 25
Cavs: 25
Suns: 25
Mavs: 21
Spurs: 19
Nuggets: 16
Pistons: 14
Rockets: 13
Blazers: 13
Hornets: 12
Jazz: 11
Wizards: 11
Magic: 11
Bulls: 10
Heat: 9
Warriors: 8
Sixers: 7
The Cavs and Nuggets have way to many games, and the Mavs and Rockets should switch their amounts.

The Nuggets games better get replaced by DEC or the stations are in for a bad surprise come 2009, theyre gonna be a bottom 3 team in the league next year.

I for one enjoyed the nationally televised epic Heat/Bulls battles last year.

BTW, TOR/PHI may be the best entertainment of the year i nthe NBA on opening night just to listen to Leos commentary on Dalembert. If he has more hatred in his voice for Dal than VC then watchout, its gonna be hilarious. I hope hes commentating that night for once.

Dalembert comes down with uncontested board...

Leo: TERRIBLE POSITIONING AND BOXING OUT BY DALEMBERT, HIS LACK OF FUNDAMENTALS IS A MAIN REASON I KICKED HIM OFF THE TEAM...

Devlin: Didnt you kick him off because he ruined team chemistry?

Leo: ...

Devlin: ...

That should be entertaining and Leo certainly isn't the type to shy away from controversy.

Damn NBA/NHL schedule makers.. Halloween night/weekend is the best night(s) to go clubbing.. the Raptors home opener and then the next night, it's the Rangers in town to play the Laffs.. Looks like I'm gonna hafta dress up in my costume on the way to the clubs both nights.
