Looks like a fair schedule to me.

Like all of you said, the first game is important, but not ti important in my opinion. I think the first road trip for more than two games will be much more important. especially with 3 teams which are beatable for sure

Can`t wait for the new season

gooo raps

So we end in Chicago again? We have Boston on our 1st/2nd week again?
We have a ''statement game'' against New jersey in November again?
This seems all too the same as last years if not.

Agreed. hopefully by the end of that road trip we're 3-2. Expect that Boston is in that little trip. I don't know if they're a sure victory.

in order to win the championship you can lose your first game but you must win your last.

Significant Raptor games next season:

Oct. 29: Opening Night

Elton Brand makes his 76ers debut in the same game that Jermaine O'Neal makes his official Raptors debut: Toronto at Philadelphia.

Jan 16: Toronto at Indiana

All the attention will be trained on Jermaine and what sort of crowd reaction he generates in his return to Indy ... but isn't Jose Calderon-T.J. Ford matchup even more compelling?

After March 15th looks like a nice stretch run for Raptors to make some ground for Playoff Position.

The schedule is not that diffirent from last season.

The dreaded Western 6 games road trip is around Xmas time, with two back-to-backs. Overall, December looks like the toughest month, so my early "estimates" deadline of Xmas makes more and more sense - by then, we will know a lot more about the makeup of this team. IMHO, if they are at or above 0.500 to start 2009, they are in a really good shape.

They also play Phoenix, Dallas and Houston on the road in a row, but no back-to-backs there. And, apparently, there is still a team to play against in Seattle, as well as one to come to the ACC from Oklahoma City, so go figure.

I agree this schedule is very much like the ones of the last 2 seasons.

Sched doesnt change that much year to year. You can imagine the headache with hockey and other events. When they get one that works, they dont stray too far from it.

They're lucky to have that.

The Raps have a hard enough time drawing ratings in Canada. Who the hell in the States wants to watch them?

Plus, as long as we get to see the games, who cares?

We don't need National TV, not as such. Players might, but it's well within their power to get there by... well... winning?
