the refs call fouls that don't make sense and it's those fouls that cost us the game ,,,,,

So sick of the whining about the refs. It's a factor but the 19TO's and piss poor perimeter defense cost us the game yesterday. After watching this year's playoffs it's clear to me that most teams get hosed quite a bit. We need to deal with it better.

it's really hard to ignore the timing of some of the fouls against the raps. that deron williams trap in the corner and the vasquez insta-tech were pivotal in that game. we don't get an unusual number of fouls against, but we don't tend to get many breaks down the stretch. or so it seems.

Agreed. That being said, I was listening to Eric Smith this morning who said some of those late calls were bs but he also said that foul on derozan by Garnett which was his 6th wasn't a foul. He said the worst call though was lowry's 6th on livingston....there simply isn't any conistency in these games imo.

The one that bothered me that I really noticed ( was at work so only saw parts of the game ) was when JJ basically shoved (Derozan? Idk who) the guy down to the floor to hit the second of his back to back 3s. Like literally hammered him with his shoulder to knock em over.. Wtf? lol

A hidden agenda might be at play, but when a team starts off like shit and waits till the 4th to get back into it, don't expect the refs to give you every call down the stretch

I felt that the refs, across the entire series, were relatively impartial

Go back to Brooklyn.

Yeah we didn't play as well as we didn't during the regular season. That's expected from a young team in playoffs with so little post season experience.

Fact of that matter stands at how biased and at times obviously blatant the officiating was. A great example was the Lowry blocking foul then 3 seconds later the demar charging foul.

Ya, the one that stands out to me in game 7 was the obvious foul that would have given Williams his 6th foul, thus forcing him outta the game.....Instead the reffs call the foul on Garnett keeping Williams in the game (to hit more free throws)

Note* Both the Torotno and BKN commentators both initially said the foul was on Williams....and then the reffs call it on Garnett. Looking at the replays, Williams actually cut directly infront of garnett to make the foul, and Garnett didnt even come in contact with lowrey......They coulda reviewed the foul, but the reffs were so sure, there was no review......If you find the clip, post it up.....speaks volumes about the hidden agenda of the NBA.

Even though we had "home court advantage" the reffs were on the Nets side the entire game

Raptors lost this series because of their inexperience.. but at the same time the way referees treat rookies is the same way they were treating the Raptors, who have allot of young first time playoff players.

but I did notice when ever the raps played hard and aggressive we got favorable calls
