16. Toronto 15-17 (18 last week)

The Raps have won four straight for the first time this season. Either they've rediscovered their defense (92.4 rating during the streak) or have taken advantage of some bad offensive opponents. Another one, Charlotte, comes into town on Wednesday.

Or both! Hopefully we can take some of the defensive mojo we get from holding these opponents to low point totals and carry it over against higher-scoring teams.

it is what it is.

Toronto is beating poor teams, sure, but losing to them is worse.

Obviously.

The true marker is what they do for ALL of January. If they play at a .750 clip, they are a good team, one that deserves a lot of attention, if not, they are average, and thats ok too I guess.

I could handle being average.... It's when the team is below average that i have a tough time watching them (or even supporting them).

Raptors shouldn't be high up there, look at their road record, you can't expect them to be successful in playoffs if they aren't consistent
