Bosh and Carter or Wade and Carter?

Wade was old, point guard with poor range and playmaker skills. He is already 29. (well, he will be 29 in the US 1 day and 6 hours after this post)

Bosh was a nice pick.

I'm biased though because I hate Bosh (because he sucks). I didn't watch one Raptors game after Vince left. Only started watching after we got DeRozan :d.

I have to admit that I would not be upset if they found a solid SF in the dratf, but even at 5th we could end up with the 3rd best SF in the 2011 draft. (behind the Jones boys)

Don't look now, but they obviously did not let Bargnani rest his knees long enough, teams that toyed with the Raptors in the 1st half are now putting their foot down and better teams are playing for playoff spots and positions.

What's that sound? Did I just hear more red and black ping pong balls drop onto the ACC floor?

Ha-haaaaaaa!

Now tied with Washington and only 1 game ahead of the Nets.....

"With the 4th pick in the 2010 NBA draft, the Toronto Raptors select"....

DraftExpress Rankings: Top 100 Prospects

I kinda like this particular ranking because it includes more international players and where they stand rather than a total North American focus. I do wish they would show what date they updated it though.

I think there would still be a draft but some of the freshman would probably stay in college which means there would be a huge lack of talent in the draft.

Although I could be wrong.

EDIT: Actually since they won't find out if the lockout is going to happen until after the draft a lot of freshman will probably still declare.

If there's a full season lock out then the Raptors will get a high pick in 2012 as well.

A more selfish version of Earl Clark IMO. I'd be fairly disheartened if this entire year of futility culminates in Terrence Jones.

I think Harrison Barnes may be underestimated....probably a good thing if we both end up falling in the draft and can't actually win the 1st pick.

Yes. The NBA draft will happen before the agreement is made or not. So you've to have the draft just in case they do get a agreement done.

Then the draft after(2012)? Used the same lottery and run it over again most likely if there is a lockout for the whole year.

So if there is a full year lockout like someone said Raptors could be getting back-to-back top 5 draft pick for those years(2011 & 2012 NBA draft).

But we could tank worse and get #1! Ya know... like a proper tank where we lose all games instead of winning 25 :P

That, and we'd be stuck watching D-league ball, hockey.....and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

Well I would at least still have the Buckeyes and CBB to watch.

But yeah I hope there is no lockout in the NBA or NFL.

no.. that was before Wade bloomed into a superstar. Why would you draft a guard to compliment VC instead of a big..

The NFL is very, very healthy. Adding 2 extra games might be a problem for players, but theh have plenty of money to go around and they can even increase the rosters. And considering how badly NBAers manage their money, they are not going to want to sit out a year. Can you imagine the tweets, posts and harmful comments coming out of some of these guys? The union would crack in a month.

As for the NBA, their union is going to get eaten alive. Now thery're talking about contraction. If you are sitting on the end of the bench collecting 2.5 million per, you're out of the league if that happens.

I honestly expect either no work stoppage or a short one because the players are in hopeless situation. The fact that the NBA is running a team to keep it afloat is a HUGE bargaining chip..

players: We want our fair share of the pie. This league and it's owners are doing well financially.

league: We are runnning a team.

players: You already have a salary cap and luxury tax. And owners are still willing to pay players huge contracts.

league: We are running a team.

Net result: Lower the cap and roll back all salaries some percentage. 20%? Who knows.
