![]() Deal Lowry to get our first-rounder back. Re-sign Jose to bridge the gap until we can draft a stud PG of the future (I hope many of you didn't seriously think that was Lowry - he's injury prone and will be 27 in a few months). Deal Bargs. Roster fixed.

its a difference of 5 missed games. your point has been negated. both are not the PG of our long term future. but i'd rather switch things up and give lowry a chance for this and maybe next season. |

![]() Im not a fan of buying high and selling low. I think it only makes seance to trade Jose now while his value is so high.
I would love to trade Bargs, but i think we are kinda stuck with him. So waiting while he goes in to a hot stretch is best way of doing it. And Lowry, I don't want to trade him, but if we will so be it. The thing is that now is not the time |

We haven't had one since 2003. And tanking doesn't guarantee that you're going to get the guy that you want. |

![]() BC isn't just going to trade Lowry and keep Jose here, there is other motives to this as well. Maybe we can't get that player at SF without Lowry being in the trade, and maybe they don't want Jose. Personally I would do it, if we get a star at the wing I'd be willing to give up Lowry and keep Jose. This team hasn't had an actual solution at SF in forever, its much easier to find a point guard to run the team than getting a star at the wing IMO.
To the people saying they will stop being a raptor fan... relax. There is multiple motives involved in trades, we aren't trading Lowry for nothing and keeping Jose here for a 50 million dollar contract. Who would you rather have, Lowry or a star at the wing? The answer is pretty easy for me. Some people here act like Lowry is Rose or Lebron type talent... |

![]() Who acts like Lowry is a top 3 player in the league? C'mon Vito. You're making stuff up there. Everything else you said was a legitimate viewpoint. It's also legitimate to want to see the talent that Lowry does possess to remain in play here. If there is a SF with the ability to impact this roster in a big way, that can be acquired with Lowry as part of a major overhaul, then all things considered it might be an ok move. If the idea is to just stick with Jose and get another piece that will be thought to complete the team to any degree, then it is going to be hard to be anything but very disappointed.

Chandler... Deng... Iggy.... Granger... I think that getting rid of Lowry for any of those guys would be a lateral move at best. |

![]() Lowry for Iggy, Deng or Granger straight up would be anything but a lateral move. It would significanlty upgrade a very weak position for us. Chandler, year, that would be a downgrade.

Fields has played about 6 or 7 games.... AA has played 12 games.... Lowry's played 14 or 15... TBH I'd like to see at LEAST 40 games (half a season's worth) from each guy (when they're healthy) before I make a judgement. |
