That is to be determined Westbrook and KD are young, if they don't it's for reasons unrelated to the raptors. We can afford to keep our players, they couldn't because it's a small market.

Under the new CBA it will be hard for any market to take on three max players.

Good.

Why different teams have different caps baffles me anyway.

Why tank for Wiggins now when you can sign him as an accomplished star in 3 to 4 years? Let another team teach him the ropes of NBA life and then sign him to a max contract after he ditches his first team for his hometown. :cookie: Let's face it, teams like SAC, CHA will suck even after Wiggins signs with them due to bad management. Wiggins will be the first high profile FA with a good reason to sign with the Raps (aside from the money and playing with Val who'll be a star by then). It's not like superstars stay with the team that drafted them anyway, look at Lebron and Dwight!

Sounds like a good plan to me! :mu:

Fairly sure that Kabongo just got picked up by the Spurs.

Too bad:

Quote:
After going undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, he joined the Miami Heat for the 2013 NBA Summer League. On September 30, 2013, he signed with the San Antonio Spurs.[12] However, he was waived on October 15.[13]

From what I hear the plan is for Kabongo to sign on with the Spurs' D-League affiliate.
