![]() The Cavs got the best chance to win the lottery and become the worse team in league on LOCK. There roster is probably even worst than last year's Nets. Yeah, I went there. Even if the Cavs TRY to win, they are the worst team in the league. No Williams, Varejao. All they have is Jamison who is 35 and Hickson, who would never start on a good team. I actually can't see them winning another game this season, it's brutal.

Look for them to score a victory against teams like the Knicks, Bobcats, Hawks. Teams above that can coast on pure talent and teams below will play for pride and don't want to be the team that gets beaten by the lowest of the low. |

![]() The Cavs may end up breaking the record for consecutive losses. I think they are only 7-8 games away and their upcoming schedule includes the likes of Denver, Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Memphis, Portland.

![]() The thing about Cleveland is that this year’s draft isn’t just about basketball, it’s about getting a player that’s going to lift a franchise up after its been beaten down and shit on. Shitty thing for Cleveland is it doesn’t look like there are any franchise-savers in this year’s draft. That could change, but at this point in the college season usually those special players have already separated themselves from the pack.
The Raps have exciting young talent in my opinion, and don’t need that same kind of shot in the vein. We just need a very good basketball player at one of two spots, and I think we’re going to be able to address that need with a top five pick. Realistically our record isn’t much different from Cleveland’s but that has more to do with injuries than an absolute lack of talent, IMO. Cleveland’s screwed – little young talent, bad contracts, the works. Toronto’s not that far away. I’m going to say the injuries throughout the roster this year could be the best thing to ever happen to this franchise. |

![]() In todays game, with he way the CBA is, and how players have so much power dictating where they play, this actually IS a race. A blue chip draft pick is the only sure fire way for a poor franchise to rebuild.
Basketball is different than many sports in that only 2-3 guys are need to make a massive change for a team.... a huge step is slipping far enough to grab a guy like Griffin or Lebron, OR, getting super lucky with a kid Like Rajon Rondo. So when you look at it like that, hell yes, this is a race, and teams know it, and the hard part is making it look like they aren't trying to lose. |

Even though they have great attendance this year, I'd say more than any other team, Cleveland NEEDS to win the lottery. And it would be a good story for them. At least Toronto has some young parts that show talent. Add this year's 2 first rounders, next year's first and one more decent trade, add water and watch them grow.
Cleveland on the other hand really is starting from ground zero. I don't even think they are "in" the games they lose. |

![]() I just can't feel sorry for Cleveland. Over the entire history of the Raptors they have had more teams that surpassed our two winning seasons than they have had teams that stunk.

If after the Raptors have been around for 41 years, we don't have any huge win seasons then I'll be upset. I don't even count the first 5 years of an expansion team. To me the Raptors have been around 11 years....and maybe now they can build it up right.
and I feel sorry for them in one sense. Miami is no more deserving than they are, but they have warm weather and beach bums. ![]() |

![]() Let's just get nr. 3 to 7 draft and get J.Valanciunas to this franchise. I mean today in LKL he scored 19 points and grabbed 18 rebounds :O. You'd say it's only in Lithuania league, but he is only 18 years old. He was the best in u-18 european championship and helped Lithuania to win gold. Now he is contender to be in Lithuania's NT. Got Bored of Bargs and u want good prospect Center? Take him.
P.s Hope Triano will read this. ![]() Forgot to say that he is shooting in Euroleague 70proc. So he is taking good shot selections, he is good in screens and he is very defensive minded center. Last edited by zxcvbn193; 01-29-2011 at 04:11 PM. |

If you could rate a player coming into the NBA out of 10, I'd rather at this point see a guy who has an upside that has a range of 7.5/10 to 8.5/10 (Bosh) than a range of 5/10 to 9/10 (Darko). If you end up with a 5/10 and you are the Magic, Lakers or Celtics, you just move on. If you are the Raptors, everybody's getting fired. |

![]() Thats the thing about this draft. there is no clear cut 1st or top 2 picks. Winning the lottery probably wont matter for the worst 4 or 5 teams. The top 5 of this draft is all pretty good and pretty equal as far as all star potential. Its gonna come down to need for some teams. I expect trades in top 10 this year as teams go for position.
If we really wanted irving i would expect we could trade up from 4-5 pick in most scenarios. The same for if wash or sac wanted p jones or sullinger. Really what bottom feeder has such a glaring hole that they wouldnt trade down a few spots in this draft for the right deal? |

I hope we pick up a North American player, high draft Euro players usually end up being busts. |
