Raptors NBA. com: Eastern Conference coaches

Quote:
Dwane Casey, Raptors
Should his 53-69 stint with the Wolves be held against him? Apparently not; Casey's name surfaced in a few openings since then, and now the desperate Raptors hope he's the answer. Casey did a solid job as the lead assistant in Dallas but the Raptors are a work-in-progress, still looking for respectability after losing two franchise players in six years.

Taking a closer look at the Eastern Conference coaches | NBA.com

Surprised they didn't release one coach in a week with the lockout.

Honestly Nba.com/NBATV is pathetic. They always rerun the same "Hardwood Classics" and "Canada Represents" over and over again.

Yeah the Hardwood Classics are horrible. And it's funny, prior to the lockout, with the plethora of NBA history at their disposal they always played the same games.

I remember that 2 years ago they made a show with the top games of the week. Now that was actually entertaining. They cut all the unnecessary stuff and usually fit a whole game in half an hour.

Is it because of the lockout that they can't show any clips of current NBA players? That would be lame.

I've had NBATV for 4-5yrs now and the only classic Raptors games i've ever seen have been the Raptors first ever NBA game, the game they beat the Bulls in their first season, The Raps 1st game at the ACC. And they're on repeat!!

If Casey holds players accountable for their playing time, he'll be worth his weight in gold.

You must not watch it very much or know when to tune in because just in ther last year or two I've seen every Raptors game from the 2001 NBA playoffs, the 2002 series against the Pistons, a ton of classic VC games (just a few months ago they had one versus the Lakers from 2000), a ton of classic Bosh games (including his first NBA game, hitting a 3 against the Rockets in OT in his rookie season)...

I saw a great Maravich game not too long ago. Lately it has been pretty dry. I think they are cutting salaries everywhere during the lockout.

Today they had the Warriors and Lakers from the 91 playoffs, the Rockets and Sonics from the 87 playoffs and the Celts and Hawks from 1987 when Nique dropped 54.
