Default NBA All Star Game In Toronto

Being not from Toronto has there been talk about bringing the NBA All Star Game to Toronto? It is only natural the NBA brings the game to Toronto considering basketball was invented by a Canadian, and the very first NBA Game was played in Toronto. I am surprised this has not happened yet and I hope Toronto gets the game very soon, it would be great for Basketball fans across Canada and would pay respect to the country that invented the great game of Hoops.

I've been hoping for the all-star but I've been hearing (from crazy friends) that it'll take place in 2012.

Memphis, Portland, Sacramento, Oklahoma City, and Toronto are the only current NBA cities that have not yet hosted an NBA All-Star Game.

I think everyone here should write the NBA or specifically David Stern a letter and tell him why Toronto deserves the All Star Game

If the NBA has that mindset that is very ignorant of the country that created this game. The NBA should give Toronto and Canada the respect we deserve and Canadians should demand to have this game in Toronto

I think the NBA's ignorance is only there because Stern is the Commish...

Not to mention that Las Vegas hosted and all-star (2007) game and they don't have an NBA TEAM! Also DAVID STERN is such a prude ass about NBA CITIES GAMBLING...he lets LAS VEGAS the sin city of the world host an all-star game. I swear if Memphis or OKC host a game before we do I will punch Stern in his face!

he's to fragile. he'd just break into pieces.

and then you'd be charged with the murda of da commish

David stern has stage 2 alzheimers and cant pronunce anyone's name properly. he's also as blind as a bat.

actually, i am correcting myself with the bat thing it's a myth that they can't see. they actually see pretty good they're just to lazy to use their sight and just use sonar for better range.

so, stern is as blind and as dumb as a bird.

Birds are very intelligent, and also have good eyesight...
I know some that are smarter than some humans I know.

In order for Toronto to get the All-Star game Stern has to , or have a stroke.

They're waiting for Maple Leaf Square to be completed before they award the ASG to the Raptors. That'll take at least another few years.

you beat me to it hoops.

Actually, I've heard numerous times in the past that MLSE indeed plan to host the event when those condos are ready (i think there's going to be a hotel portion in the towers).

I don't know how long it will take to complete them though, but my guess is not that long (2 years at the most?). From the looks of things they're at their top height structurally - which might i add is damn tall for residential buildings.
