Nathan Jawai missing training camp

Any news on Nathan Jawai missing the start of the training camp because of a heart problem?

Dino Blogger 09-29-2008 09:43 PM

I have sent out a few e-mails based on contacts I made from doing the article on him but haven't heard anything. I hope this is just a minor thing and he will be fine. He was even at media day today.

It is based on concern from routine heart exam and is being reported in all the major Canadian papers.

you scared me Dino, i was just on facebook and i checked out my groups and saw that you had updated the Nathan Jawai one.

Hope it is just a minor thing and he is back in training by next week.

Damn, hope the guy is fine and it is just a false result or something like that.

My question is, if Jawaii cant play, who will be our 13th man?

Will it be a big or a wing?

I think Joey should be the fifth big and a wing should be brought in, mabey bring back Freddy Jones.

Unfortunate and if it is health related I wish him a speedy recovery. But truth be told, did anyone really think he was going to be a factor on this team this season? I might have been one of the few, but I didn't expect much at all. :(

Anyhow, here's a link to an article at the Globe & Mail regarding the news.

I don't know what it is with people wanting to see Joey play the four. He has the physical tools to be an absolute monster at the three, but he's just not tall enough to play the four unless Smitch wants to run small.
And I don't see all this Jawai missing training camp business being too much of a factor, if at all. Shocker, I know.
