Default Nathan Jawai

I am an Aussie and I watched a lot Jawai in our national league last year were he played for the Cairns taipans. I am just wondering what you are hearing about him in toronto. I haven't heard a lot since his cardiac condition? Is he going to be healthy to play this season? And do you think he will get any minutes if he is?

Check out this clip of him in action in the NBL all star game last year. MVP for the game Jawai really did have himself a night

G'day ak85.

I think we're all pretty dissapointed with the lack of info about Jawai's ailment. I think it's just terrible timing as this has come up at such a crucial time when he could have been learning a lot and playing in some pre-season games. I was quite excited about him as a prospect when i looked up his Australian success and i do really hope that he can get back on track with his career.

At the same time, i can totally understand why the Raptors would not want to take any risks with him at this point. No sense in taking any chances when certain athletes in basketball and other sports have tragically fallen to their cardiac problems while competing.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

This is the only news we've heard about Jawai ak85 and it was from one of your local papers just the other day.

I confirmed that article with Aaron Fearne. It seems we will not be seeing the Big Aussie For Awhile.
