He should go to Dallas and win a ring with all those vets.

Looks like everyone here just want Nash because of his past accomplishments and cuz he's Canadian. At the right price I guess for a back-up guard considering his age and all, he's welcome here. But going to the Playoffs, he's not the answer. I'd say...

KEEP CALDERON!!!

We don't make the playoffs with Calderon.

Nash as a backup? But Calderon stays as a starter?

Nash has the same playing style with Jose. You wanna pay more than $10 mil for this guy just because he was a 2x MVP and Canadian??

You guys are overlooking our players but that's understandable cuz they are never mentioned on ESPN where you guys get your opinions from those "analyst" and then post it here. People here are so caught-up with the hype.

Just be honest, you want Nash just cuz he's Canadian and was an All-Star. He's not an All-Star anymore. If you were upset that the Raptors are overpaying Calderon, I'm sure you'd be surprised by Nash's performance here and overpaid.

An almost 40 year old Nash ain't good at defense too.

Yes, because being on the allstar team as recently as 4 months ago is definately not current.

And nearly leading the league in assists with all star scoring options like Jared Dudley, Shannon Brown and Michael Redd last season is also rather tepid...

To be honest, I am not sure if I want to sign Nash either.

Not that I don't doubt his talents, but I am not sure if signing him is the right move long term. KG got $34M/3yrs. It is reasonable for Nash's agent to ask for the same amount or even more, considering Toronto's lack of talent.

Some may argue: "Yeah, but he can help mentor a young point guard." Maybe, but it doesn't guarantee that they will blossom. Just ask Marcus Banks.

If Nash asks for a huge contract, Colangelo should pursue a different option.

Going forward, how high a pick can realistically expect. What's your long term plan if we aren't going to bad enough to get high picks.

I understand the trepidation vis a vis Nash, but his game is not predicated on athleticism so his skills shouldn't deteriorate much. He will be a godsend for someone inexperienced like Valanciunas who really needs to be spoonfed on cuts to the rim and will be the best pick and roll partner out there for JV and Bargnani.

He makes the team better and spaces the floor in a serious way. If we're able to pick him up, we have legitimate threats from long range with him and Ross (and Bargnani if he can pick his 3pt&% back up) as well as a really great pick and roll player.

Absolutely worth it even aside from the publicity/franchise type stuff.

18 points - 10 boards - 1 blk - 1 stl - 50%FG - 81% FT.

KG proved that he can still have a massive impact on a game. The move to center will let him continue his beast like performances. He's just gonna keep doing what Dirk and Duncan do and just save themselves until the playoffs.

Those 3 guys are just too fucking good. They've been at it for so long and 14/15 years into their career are amongst the best and most reliable bigs in the league.

Actually, I have had very heated arguments saying the exact opposite.

Anyways, you still crazy.
