At least getting closer to reality ... 12th at his best ... 15th, 18th watever very far from easily top 10. KL was not any significant upgrade (if any) over jc. I haven't seen any of the things he was supposed to bring (defense, rebounding) and definitely not a better shooter or assist man. He's a barely passable starting pg already and his scoring made worse now by the black hole in our sf spot. That trade was a panic move/waste of a high pick by a desperate gm (I don't blame bc ... Anyone in his situation would've screwed the team to try to save his job) grasping at straws to make the playoffs to stop from getting fired ... Say what you like but Jc would've been cheaper to keep until we coulda got a real pg upgrade and to tank to get wiggins and keep another developing 1st rounder (bye Ed Davis) plus I wouldn't have to throw up everytime I see him in the game and think it's either he stays or Augustine goes in and I throw up again. Ppl trying to hype Lowry remind me of a used car salesman trying to stick buyers with a lemon.

is it possible for you to watch the raps play without a pre-judgement on lowry?

also, you do remember that Calderon was called a pylon for many many seasons right?

You'd seriously give up young pieces and/or our pick for Nash?

Drive and kick, rebounding, getting to the free throw line/attacking the basket, and actually being an option on offense, the only reliable 3 point shooter in the starting 5. KL does none of those things

The only thing more ridiculous than this statement is the thought that we would trade for Nash, especially with a new GM.

Judging by the thumbs downs some posts are getting on this page, there are still a lot of closet Jose fans here on RaptorsForum.

I don't think the ticket sales would jump much, especially after say a month or so.

Apparently he said that he will retire when his contract is finished. He will be 41 in 2015.

I remember everyone wanted to give Nash a max to come here and not La kers. I wonder how many changed their minds.

a team with Jose & Ed was never given a chance. I hope this team will be..

Want no part of Nash.
Lakers would be very lucky to have dumped him off on us.

Steve Nash is still dealing with nerve damage stemming from the fractured left leg that sabotaged his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, the 39-year-old point guard told reporters Monday.
Quote:
"I still feel that almost every day all over," Nash said of the nerve discomfort. "It's not just in that spot [in his left leg]. It's like the nerve system and nerve roots are on guard. So the whole system in a way is different now. It's just a little more sensitive, and you face different things because of it. So, freaky, freaky thing, but I can't complain. I'm still playing basketball and I'm still effective and I can get better physically and my game will come around the more I play."
