Jose, Bargs, Triano

1) Bargnani- He does not fit this team. We need to look to get his 20 points from elsewhere. His lack of defence and rebounding bring down this team. He's a very talented player, but I don't see him working with this group of players.

2) Kleiza- He does not fit with this team either. Of the games he played, he destroyed the flow of the offence with ill-advised shots and consistent turnovers. Plus, he's coming off a knee injury.

3) Calderon- I like him, but he's too old and plays basketball at a slower tempo than we need him to.

I guess my list

1. Bargnani - For all the same reasons as everybody else. I don't know he seems cool and everything but his play is what really kills. Ineffective when his scoring is off, and even if he does score he still only grabs 1 rebound. Just getting tired of his I don't care look... In other words he's just happy that he can make so much money and eat pasta before each game (according to the commercial)

2. Linas Kleiza - Not a fan of this guy tbh... Never liked the signing from the beginning he's just another scrub who tries to score at will and is ineffective when he isn't

3. Don't really have anybody else I would actually see gone atm

All 3 are making way too much money when compared to their actual production on the floor (IMO)... and none of them are great defenders.

The euro-experiment is over. Time to clear them out and give their minutes to guys who want to play on both ends of the floor.

Surprised at all the hate for Weems given that he hardly makes anything at all. I'd take the opportunity to low-ball him into a 3-yr contract worth $5M or something and see if he bites. When he's under control he's still capable of doing some nice things. He's more versatile than Wright who is like a perimeter-version of Reggie Evans (no offense to speak of).
id take wright over weems anyday, even on offence. wright has great vision and is a point forward, something we havent had in a long time(that worked)

All time Number 1. Jose-should of been gone long ago
2. Triano
3. Amir Johnson -tell you why...If Bargniani continues to play Center on this team, then we need to let Ed Davis start Pf not Amir...just my opinion

Ok, but why would that mean Amir has to go?

Well then Amir would have to settle for limited iminutes and come off the bench if Ed davis starts.
I mean, if im management, I would wanna see what Ed Davis can do with more minutes. I think if Ed Davis can develop his offensive game, he can be good PF. As of now, Amir and Davis are identical PF's, except Amir is a slightly better scorer.

Why can't Amir be the 3rd Big on this team? Shit on any good team he's likely the 3rd or 4th big. Gotta have a backup PF, no? I don't mind trading him and keeping Evans who's cheaper. But only if it's part of a bigger deal that nets us something significant.

1) Weems - Didn't contribute anything to this year
2) Ajinca - He is worse than a Bargs-lite
3) Dorsey - Please, please get a good center next year.

True, I like Amir too, I would say he was the only guy along with Demar that went out and played hard every game and yes he would be a back up PF on any team.
But I also think thats the problem, if you look at it, we have 3 PF's who all deserve to be a starter on THIS team..Bargniani, Amir, and Ed Davis.
lol i dont know...either that or get rid of Bargniani and get a real big who has a presence under the net, but who can also contribute on offense

Bargs - Soft garbage

Jose - You've had your time and chance, getting older, history of injury problems.

Wright - Sorry but you don't even play when your told to go play. Get off the team you worthless scrub.

1. Calderon - too big of a liability on D and isn't worth his salary
2. Barbosa - his selfish style of play isn't suited for a rebuilding team, better off as a 6th man on a playoff team and should have decent value if we can trade him
3. Triano - not a believer he can be an effective head coach in this league, he's gotta go.. cheap salary or not

my 3rd player is Bargnani due to his d and rebounding and the value we could get in return

players like Weems, Dorsey Ajincas, etc arent gonna net us anything in return

the topic is who you want gone in order and why, not who should be traded, there's no "net us anything in return", its asking who you don't want to see return next season

i agree with Bargnani but not kleiza. Kleiza is a very good player, great range, good on defence, decent at rebounding, and he's a tough guy. during the start of the season this guy was lights out from outside. After he started to fuck up cause of his knee. Give him next season and he'll be great off the bench.

I like Kleiza and think he'll be better next season if/when healthy. But good on defense? Lights out from outside? He's ok from outside, but streaky. As for his defense.......it's a struggle for him.

Default Who's Gone?

Which players do you will leave the Raptors this off season.

Here's my picks:

1) Sonny Weems- Fell out of favour with this organization. We don't really need his bad shot selection, and he hardly racks the rim anymore. He doesn't look very satisfied with his role in the organization. I like him off the court, so I hope he enjoys a great time in Europe.

2) Julian Wright- Shown that he can't play consistently and does not have enough talent. That incident when he refused to enter the game didn't really help either.

3) Leandro Barbosa- I like the guy, but I think his time in the organization is going to end over the summer. He will either opt out and sign elsewhere or be traded to a contending team.

4) Joey Dorsey, Alexis Ajinca- Expiring contracts with not much promise. Dorsey plays hard, but probably won't get much minutes. Ajinca is just another stretch big that takes too much shots.

5) Solomon Alabi- Have a feeling that he'll be included in a deal to satisfy cap restrictions.

I'm still leaning back and forth on Andrea. Most of Toronto have turned against him. Bryan Colangelo is not a man who will let his pride get in the way, and will trade him if it helps the organization. Question is if we can get a good return for him, and if BC still thinks he can help us in the future.
