Myck Kabongo

Meet out PG of the future:

I don't know how we get him, I do not have facts to prove it - I just have a feeling that it's time for this team to draft a local kid who will become the new face of our franchise.

I think he might stay for a 2nd year if he is projected to go 28th or w/e.

MikeToronto 02-09-2012 04:56 PM

He is from TO. Someone could, you know, talk to his mom or something else equally illegal... ;)

Dweez 02-09-2012 05:04 PM

He's quick and with that last name i can only imagine when he hit a three pointer... KABOOM!

carp 02-09-2012 05:09 PM

I'd prefer if he looked smarter.... more like lin. Also, if he wasn't as tanned, yet not to be white, but with a yellowish hue.... and good at math and also be good with a ginsu cause then he'd be a great dinner host for team commraderie...

pzabby 02-09-2012 05:11 PM

if he's the new face of the franchise, we're going to be tanking unwillingly for a heck of a long time. ;)

Hey, c'mon, have some faith! Early struggles with Texas nonwithstanding...

LOG 02-09-2012 05:33 PM

How about LeBryan Nash? look at his name he must be a future superstar :mischief:

Shiiiit, you got 3 MVP there: Lebron, Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash!

Dark Knight 02-09-2012 10:52 PM

I haven't seen enough of Kabongo, but I've heard great things so far despite his early struggles. Good leadership, knows how to play the game... and he's Canadian. :dancing:

I wouldn't mind Kendall Marshall too. In fact, I'd condone Kendall. He won't jump out of the gym but he'll make the smart plays and gets the job done.

Can't go wrong with picking up one of Kabongo, Marshall, or Teague in the mid round.

I think he's staying too but there aren't many good PG's in the draft and after workouts he could be the #2 or 3 PG. That will get you in the first round and a guaranteed contract.

Chris 03-16-2012 02:08 PM

I just checked the boxscore, he's shooting pretty bad.

jeffb 03-16-2012 02:11 PM

Hell of a game though

Chris 03-16-2012 02:13 PM
