i voted for isiah mostly because he sucks as a gm and seems to be a bit of a douchebag. that may not be fair, but whatever... also, i'm wondering if i should be thankful to isiah for making the knicks terrible and thus the atlantic less competitive...

Hahah yeha Zeke is my hero for what he did to the Knicks... Had to go with 'lonzo who brought his own brand of douchebaggery to the franchise's history.

I don't like Zeke in general as a person or GM

see here is where it gets interesting as we start to look at guys who can't be judged by the same criteria due to their respective roles.

Isiah gets my vote and here's why:

He commited to this team as the GM. With that comes bigtime responsibility in which he was thee man behind the whole team. He was the leader - the boss. Hence his turning his back on the team (while his motives may be murky) to me is worse than what Alonzo did.

Isaiah was the first to hire an italian player. Vincenzo Esposito back in 1996

Asslonzo. Far and away. At least Isiah agreed to come here and made some good draft selections. Mourning never even wanted to come here.

I said it before, and i'm sticking with it... Isiah was instrumental in getting a franchise here in Toronto.
regardless of what he did afterwards, he played a big role in getting us a team and that deserves something.
i wont vote for him... never.

Honestly I think Isaiah has already been bashed enough times. After what New York did to him, I think he deserves somewhat of a break. Zo on the other hand is a clown. He puts an act out there in front of the tv as someone he's not. My vote goes to Zo.

Zo for sure. When he heard he was traded here I was somewhat excited...When I found out he wasn't coming i was pissed, and when he won a championship i was even more pissed.

Acie could you make these threads sticky?

SJ, he was a wealthy man who was handed 10 million dollars from the Toronto Raptors. He's hateable. Regardless of whether it was all planned/not planned. Whatever.

You're right. Based on the stuff Jackson cited to support your position, it appears as though Mourning didn't do anything wrong. But blame Babcock for contributing to all the confusion. In the quotes I found, Babcock was not upfront about the ZERO possibility of Mourning playing for Toronto. Babcock's remarks paved the ground for Mourning backing out, but also suggested the Raps wanted Mourning and that he might play for Toronto.

TBH, both are stupid selections.

I don't know what Round 1 looked like, but to have these guys even advance in this type of competition is beyond me.

I agree 100% with what Insider said.
And what SJ said is also true.

Therefore, how can either be hated? I just picked the guy who really had nothing to do with the franchise anyway, and that was 'Zo. But again, both theses individuals shoudn't be here.
